C2C has obtained in September 2006 its fourth DMC team world champion title in a row. With their previous victory in 2003, 2004 and 2005 they achieve a historical quadruple and break Dj Craze's records, the only Dj that has made it 3 times in a row until today... This crown is in fact the result of a keen upstream work: while taking part regularly in competitions, they make progress and make a clean sweep of the best ranks as they also won ITF 2005 team world Champion title and Hip Hop World Challenge title. Pfel, the last Dj getting in the crew, round off this prize list by his collection of trophies won in solo competitions (DMC, ITF). This rise leads them in parallel to perform all around the world with Q-Bert, A-Trak, Dj Kentaro, The Scratch Perverts or DJ Vadim. Exploiting at the very maximum human as well as material possibilities (mixers effects, feedback, larsens...), the show presented on tour is out of breath for the listener. The denseness of sequences is cut by technical parts meant to underline individual performances. Routines give way to live compositions mixing turntables of one, machines of another finish brilliantly with the 6 minutes sets having made them champions of the world four times in a row!
On the creation side, the quartet excels too and particularly in realizing pieces intended for producing. Thanks to their various experiences and after a long soundgrubbing work, they launch out a whole series of breakbeats entitled Flyin' Saucer (3 volumes to date) including several own innovations. A recent proof of their qualities in this field: 20Syl and Greem, respectively Mc and DJ of the band called Hocus Pocus, invited the two others C2C Djs to take part in its new album 73 Touches (On And On records). This collaboration has just led on a track completely played with turntables. They're now working on their first album which will lead them to a further step in their artform.

We're watching, watching
The revolution, those screams
Time is running, running
The revolution, those screams
And we're waiting, waiting
Is it the very end of something
Bitches at the front door
I got power, go to war
Leave me money, soldiers so I'll lay'em down, kill the poor
Tyrants want the greedy whore
Shake'em down, gimme more
The rich they paid protection plays the underscore
Give me yours
Grab onto the screams and wars
The private lives are at the core
Visions soar in my mind
All seeing I was blind
Blocking out the sunshine
Eternally, we be fine, globally
We decline anytime we mistreat
Murder everywhere we turn
Birth of a nation
Slaves on plantations
Traps keep us facin'
Distracted, rat-racin'
Poisonous, we taste it
Uncover truth let's face it
I'll be in the basement
Rallying for placement
Changing lives is basic
The future's now don't waste it
Get up off the matrix
(Oh oh oh oh)
Is it the last time, we talk together
The last time, we watch each other
The revolution those screams
Time is running, running
The revolution those screams
And we're waiting, waiting
Kings season,
Retreating slowly
Kings season watching scream rising
Is it the very end of something, or is it just the beginning
Watch it burning, watch them falling
Watch it burning hey hey
Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh
I'll be in the basement,
Rallying for placement, changing lives is basic,
The future's now don't waste it, get up off the matrix.
The lyrics to C2C Feat. Rita J. & Moongai's song Kings Season seem to describe a time of change and upheaval, with the "season for the kings to leave" symbolizing the end of an era and the potential start of something new. The "revolution, those screams" could refer to the voices of the people demanding change and the "waiting" could be the anticipation of what will come next. The verses paint a picture of power struggles and violence, with lines like "I got power, go to war" and "murder everywhere we turn." However, there is also a sense of hope and a call to action, with the refrain "The future's now don't waste it" encouraging listeners to take charge and make a difference.
Overall, the lyrics of Kings Season are open to interpretation, but seem to explore themes of change, power dynamics, and the importance of taking action in the face of difficult times.

All I want is
You to get up (Get up now)
All I want is
Us together (Together now)
All I want is
You to get up (Get up now)
All I want is
Us together (Together now)
Uh, together apart, apart together we are
From growing up and having dreams of being a star
To travel the world 24/7 is hard
Sad, used to be tighter and this string's on the guitar
Now its phone call, G chat, Skype messages
Long distance love got us both like hostages
Without the ransom note, hard to advance you know
Asking if you're coming home and the answer's no no
Maybe I could or would I should've take a little time to explain that
Thing's are better
And very soon you and I will back together, uh
Ready as ever to face the storm weather
Until then here's a little something for you
Over this ill street blues that my people's produce
The type of sound, that will tickle your fancy
Reminds of this all classic high life tune, could you ink me
Benjamin letter uh, there's nothing better
I switch it up you know it's never the same
Can't wait to be together again, I'm saying, I'm saying
All I want is
You to get up (Get up now)
All I want is
Us together (Together now)
All I want is
You to get up (Get up now)
All I want is
Us together (Together now)
Together apart, apart together we are
Maybe I could or would I should've
You and I be back together
Here's a little something for you
Together uh
You and I
Together now
You and I together now
You and I together now
