Described as a group cute as a cherry but that shoot the hearts of the public with energetic charm, they debuted on January 21, 2019 with the single album "Let's Play Cherry Bullet"

The group originally consisted of ten members, but on December 13, 2019, FNC announced the departure of Mirae (미래), Kokoro (코코로), and Linlin (린린). The group currently has seven members: Haeyoon (해윤), Yuju (유주), Bora (보라), Jiwon (지원), Remi (레미), Chaerin (채린) and May (메이).

In 2021 the group released their first mini-album, "Cherry Rush" which was further followed by Mnet airing a new Survival Show titled Girls Planet 999, where members Bora (보라), Jiwon (지원) and May (메이) competed to debut in Kep1er

The group released their second mini-album, "Cherry Wish," on March 2nd, 2022.
