Good Girls Go Bad-
COBRA STARSHIP FEAT. FLO RIDA Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'll make them good girls go
Good girls go
(good girls go)
I know your type
Yeah daddy's little girl
Just take a bite (one bite)
Cause just one night couldn't be so wrong
I'm gonna make you lose control
She was so shy
Till I drove her wild
I make them good girls go bad
I make them good girls go bad
You were hanging in the corner
With your five best friends
You heard that I was trouble but you couldn't resist
I make them good girls go bad
I make them good girls go
Good girls go
(good girls go)
(good girls go)
I know your type
Boy you're dangerous
Yeah you're that guy
I'd be stupid to trust
But just one night couldn't be so wrong
You make me want to lose control
She was so shy
'Til I drove her wild
I make them good girls go bad
I make them good girls go bad
I was hanging in the corner
With my five best friends
I heard that you were trouble but I couldn't resist
I make them good girls go bad
I make them good girls go
Good girls go
(good girls go)
(good girls go)
Oh she got a way with them boys in the place
Treat em like they don't stand a chance
And he got a way with them girls in the back
Actin' like they too hot to dance
Oh she got a way with them boys in the place
Treat em like they don't stand a chance
And he got a way with them girls in the back
Actin' like they too hot to dance
I make them good girls go bad
I make them good girls go
Them good girls go bad
(good girls go)
I was hanging in the corner
With my five best friends
I heard that you were trouble but I couldn't resist
I make them good girls go bad
I make them good girls go bad
I make the good girls go
(good girls go)
(good girls go)
(good girls go)
In "Good Girls Go Bad," Cobra Starship sings about their ability to transform good girls and boys into bad ones, all with just one night of rebellious fun. The song is sung from two alternative perspectives - a male and female - both boasting about their ability to be troublemakers and disrupt the lives of those around them.
The lyrics describe a scenario in which the singers are attracted to someone who they know will be trouble, but they can't resist their charm. In the first verse, the male protagonist sings about a girl who appears innocent but is actually a "daddy's little girl." He claims that just one night with him would shake up her world and make her lose control, implying that his bad-boy persona is irresistible. Similarly, in the second verse, the female protagonist sings about a dangerous guy that she can't resist, despite her suspicion that he may not be trustworthy.
The chorus repeats the phrase "I'll make them good girls go bad" and describes how the singers have successfully transformed these good boys and girls into troublemakers. The final verse describes their power over those around them, with the male protagonist singing about how he has a way with the boys in the place, while the female protagonist boasts about her ability to make the girls in the back dance, despite the appearance of being "too hot" to do so.
Overall, "Good Girls Go Bad" is a fun, upbeat song about rebellion and the allure of danger. It paints a picture of two charismatic individuals who know how to have a good time and aren't afraid to shake things up.

Precisely!
Very well put. Too bad the majority are easily swayed by majority rule of the status quo when it comes outward appearances amongst many other things or like this song.
I clicked on it knowing of that actress & seeing her in films. Didn't know she sings. Upon clicking on this video & hearing it once more it jogged my memory & I remembered this song but at first didn't recognize it at all even by its title.
I now remember this song & remember it being played heavily & I remember how I thought it was HOT GARBAGE pop 💩 back then & still do now upon hearing it again.
It has something like 54 million views if I'm correct so that majority rule thing kinda applies to music as well among other facets of life & how easily humans are conditioned & easily influenced by others.
Anyway I may have got off track there & lost you in my rant.
The main point I was driving at is that I agree very much with your keen observation & your initial post.
