@@tomstiyer657 I understand that fact. Nerves send electric signals to muscle tissue in order to start a chain reaction between myosin and actin, which causes muscles to contract, to state the process briefly. What I meant with my question was:

Would Electric Eels have electrocytes and still use normal muscle tissue, which use myosin and actin to make them move, to receive electric signals from their nervous system?

OR

Would their electrocytes work with similar mechanisms to muscle tissue, as well as having mechanisms for producing electric discharges, and substitute normal muscle tissue entirely for movement?

Edit: Hold on, my bad. It's been a while since I watched the video, so I went back to the section where they talked about their electrocytes. They describe them as "Modified Muscle Cells," so electrocytes are probably muscle tissue with extra functions. I could also be wrong, but that is what I'm picking up. Sorry if my comment seemed pretentious here.

It’s absolutely insane that we just accept a creature like this could do such an impossible thing. An animal is able to produce a deadly amount of electrical voltage with just its natural born organs. Nature is so fascinating.

@WeSpiced Memes Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Aang can save the world."
