About: Hugo Caballero, also known as DJ Gandulk, is a built-in music-man all the way down to his genetic core. He was already playing guitar, composing rock, and alternative tunes at a very young age, until allured by high-end electronica, he paired up with Ojos to create their successful Trancemission project almost a decade ago. This trooper has conquered the hearts of party enthusiasts all over The Earth with Trancemission; However, ultimately seduced by a more subtle nonetheless powerful beat, Caballero has sunk in deep space -right where the thick matter lies- dispatching his signature PPG (Puro Pinche Groove). Together with his alternative project 2UP & Caballero, which he shares with no other than Odiseo, Gandulk has recently signed up with the all-star Maia & Undergroove music team, so know for sure the best from this artist is yet to come.
Solo or alongside either of his partners in crime, Gandulk provokes a major uproar... Enough to rise the dead and get them going!
2011 Has been an explosive year for Caballero, after release many tracks remixes and collaborations, playing all over Mexico, Brazil, Australia and other places, his energetic live act its highly solicited now a days winning fans everywhere everyday.

Caballero Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The power and the glory 'til thy kingdom come.
And they said that in our time,
All that's good will fall from grace.
Even saints would turn their face in our time.
And they told us that in our days,
Different words said in different ways,
And they said that in our time,
We would reap from their legacy,
We would learn from what they had seen in our time.
And they told us that in our days,
We would know what was high on high,
We would follow and not defy in our time.
Faithless in faith. We must behold the things we see
The lyrics of Caballero's song "Hymn" are full of imagery and poetic language that can be interpreted in many ways. The opening lines, "Give us this day all that you showed me. The power and the glory 'til thy kingdom come," can be seen as a prayer asking for guidance and strength from a higher power. The following verses seem to address the idea that in modern times, people have lost faith in traditional institutions and values. The line "Even saints would turn their face in our time" suggests that even those who were once considered pure and holy are now disillusioned and disenchanted.
The lyrics also touch on the idea of language and how it can be manipulated and distorted to serve different agendas. The line "Different words said in different ways, have other meaning from he who says in our time" suggests that language can be used to mislead and confuse people.
Line by Line Meaning
Give us this day all that you showed me.
Lord, we ask for the blessings and enlightenment that you have bestowed upon us before.
The power and the glory 'til thy kingdom come.
We pray for your divine guidance and blessings until your kingdom arrives.
And they said that in our time,
Some people have predicted that in our time,
All that's good will fall from grace.
All the good things will lose their value and importance.
Even saints would turn their face in our time.
Even the most righteous and holy people might turn their back on goodness.
And they told us that in our days,
Some have prophesied that in our current era,
Different words said in different ways,
Words may have varying meanings depending on their context and presentation.
Have other meaning from he who says in our time.
The person who speaks those words may intend a different meaning.
And they said that in our time,
Again, some have foretold that during our era,
We would reap from their legacy,
We would benefit from the past generations' accomplishments or failures.
We would learn from what they had seen in our time.
We would gain wisdom from the experiences of our predecessors.
And they told us that in our days,
Another prophecy for our current time is that,
We would know what was high on high,
We would understand what is most important and valuable in life.
We would follow and not defy in our time.
We would obey and not rebel against those values and principles.
Faithless in faith. We must behold the things we see
Even though we might have doubts or uncertainties, we must face reality and acknowledge what is happening around us.

@symphony78
Yo tengo 44 años, amante de la música metal desde los 16, pero con este tema y el guitar spell, se me ponían los pelos de punta. Solo hay dos tipos de música. La buena y la mala. Los estilos no importan.
@eboke
La original de Ultravox es mejor y no porque sea la original :-)
