Entre los humos y perfumes alguien entra;
The lyrics to Café Quijano's song La taberna del Buda describe a dingy neighborhood bar where the regulars come together each night to write scripts and dark novels, and share tips and tricks. The door opens through the haze of smoke and perfume, and a stranger who resembles Buddha walks in. The patrons take notice, some looking at him with curiosity, while others inquire as to who he might be. The scene in the bar is an eclectic mix of characters, including a prisoner sitting in one corner and a notary sitting at the bar. There's also a recently separated man who's with the widow of a friend, a dean, a lawyer, a police officer surrounded by thieves, a princess, and a Portuguese woman who is not much to look at once she removes her high heels. But the most scandalous of all are the three married bankers who flirt openly with three Italian women who have no qualms about sharing them among themselves.
