La mer
Cafe Accordion Orchestra Lyrics

Qu'on voit danser le long des golfes clairs
A des reflets d'argent
La mer
Des reflets changeants
Sous la pluie
La mer
Ses blancs moutons
Avec les anges si purs
La mer bergere d'azur
Infinie
Voyez
Pres des etangs
Ces grands roseaux mouilles
Voyez
Ces oiseaux blancs
Et ces maisons brouillees
La mer
Les a berces
Le long des golfes clairs
Et d'une chanson d'amour
La mer
A berce mon coeur pour la vie
The song La Mer by Cafe Accordion Orchestra is a beautiful tribute to the sea, seen through a traveler's eyes. Through the lyrics, the audience is transported to the coastlines and beaches, where the sea dances along the clear bays with silver reflections. The sea is ever-changing, its reflections taking on different colors and hues under the rain. It is a source of inspiration for artists, merging with the skies in all their white beauty, creating a canvas for the majestic and pure angels.
The sea is like a shepherdess dressed in blue, vast and infinite. The audience sees the beauty of the sea, with the tall reeds and the white birds that reside near its estuaries. The houses are blurry in the background, not important enough to take away from the sea's majesty. The sea's lullabies carry the traveler to sleep each night with its tender love songs. The serene yet bright nature of the lyrics shows the wonder of nature and the power it holds over the human spirit.
