2) Caffeine is a UK based, originally punk rock band. Their current line up consists of:
Scott McEwan - Vocals, Bass
J - Guitars
Dave Pistolas - Guitars, Backing Vocals
Nick Battani - Drums
Caffeine’s 2006 release "Symphony" brought them under the spotlight. It was produced by Andy Hawkins (Pidgeon Detectives, Wildhearts) and released on Caffeine Records.
The band's second record, entitled "Dressed to the Nines" was released for digital download at the end of 2007.
The third release on Caffeine Records will be Caffeine frontman Scott McEwan's solo EP, entitled "Twilight", for fans of Counting Crows, Eels and Ben Folds.
3) Caffeine were a portuguese rock band. Their line up was:
- Cláudio Mateus (vocals, acoustic guitar)
- Carlos Pascoinho (electric guitar)
- Pedro Pascoinho (drums)
- Pedro Falacho (keys)
- Miguel Falcão (bass)
They were formed in 1997, after having passed through other bands, in Montemor-o-Velho. Initially they were just a cover band that played songs from Leonard Cohen and The Velvet Underground. After ten months, they decided that they had enough stuff to record. Between the 13th and the 20th of July, 1998, they recorded a demo tape with 10 songs, all written by Cláudio Mateus. It was considered one of the best demo tapes of the year by the newspaper Diário de Notícias, thus a very promising band.
Caffeine gave several concerts throughout the country, with occasional appearances in prestigious venues such as Rivoli, Aula Magna and the Ritz Club. High praising in the press led them to perform the first parts of shows from Dakota Suite and Day One at the Super Bock Super Rock festival, in the year of 2000.
Caffeine's debut album was recorded, without the involvement of any record label, in the last months of 2000. Mick Harvey was initially appointed as the producer of the album, which did not happen due to schedule incompatibilities. Despite all this, by suggestion of Mick Harvey came Tony Cohen who participated in the mixing and in the post-production of the album. The album was released by Universal. The group opened concerts for the icelanders Sigur Rós at the Centro Cultural de Belém and for Nick Cave as well.
The album had a somewhat cold reception, even by admirers of the band, which led to some dismay in the elements of the group and a prolonged hiatus despite of the existence of a contract for one more album (which was released posthumously by the Barcelos record label Honeysound, named "Last Shot"). The band split in 2005. Cláudio Mateus formed Electric Willow in 2006, and the other elements of the band engaged in other projects.
4) Caffeine is actor Samuel Caffeine's rap project. So far he has released one album, Things In the Game Done Changed, in year 1999.
5) Caffeine is a crossover/rock'n'roll band from Prague, Czech Republic.
The band was founded in 2007 and very active during 2008. Then
members took a break in 2009 and get together in September 2010. Since
then the band prepared 10 new killers rock'n'roll songs and 3 of them
- Danger, Spit It and My Time - recorded in January 2011. Caffeine
draws inspiration from 70´s hard rock bands such as Rolling Stones,
Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple with a hint of inspiration from 80´s
rock'n'roll (Mötley Crüe, The Cult) spiced with 90´s grunge crossover
(Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Faith No More) and all of it with
contemporary and modern sound (Sevendust, Hed PE).
They participated in international competition, Emergenza, and thanks to that, they performed in Germany and France.
They released their debut album, Social Animal, in april 2015.

Far Away
Caffeine Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Back on track and we will never lose it
We won't wait, this is how it's gonna be
So sit down, you weren't paying attention
Feet on ground, this is our redemption
We won't wait, this is how it's gonna be
A weekend lost in promises
Tears clench through a fist again
And now summer seems so far away
If you could make it through the day
We'd stay the same and everyone would change
But I'm waiting, and it's painful
To watch you change from day to day and memories
But I'm waiting and I know you
I know you're right to watch the crime from far away
You're far away.
So we're back and this is how we'll start it
Back on track and we don't want to lose it
We won't wait, this is how it's gonna be
Some let go, leave it all behind you
Just let go, wanna help you through everything
That's the way it's gonna be
And I'm sorry that it's come to this
A weekend lost in promises
Tears clench through a fist again
And now summer seems so far away
If you could make it through the day
We'd stay the same and everyone would change
But I'm waiting, and it's painful
To watch you change from day to day and memories
But I'm waiting and I know you
I know you're right to watch the crime from far away
You're far away.
The clock is ticking on our lives
Want to make a difference in this life and
Live it right, live it right.
Still I'm waiting, and it's painful
To watch you change from day to day and memories
But I'm waiting and I know you
I know you're right to watch the crime from far away
You're far away.
You're far away.
All these eyes will cry for far away.
The song "Far Away" by Caffeine appears to be about a situation where the singer and the person they are addressing are reconciling after some sort of conflict. They are determined to move on from the past and not lose focus on their goals anymore. The singer acknowledges that they have had some issues that they need to iron out but the other person seems to be unwilling to change. The verse "And I'm sorry that it's come to this/A weekend lost in promises/Tears clench through a fist again" suggests that the two had some sort of disagreement and that the issue has been going on for a while. The singer is aware that the other person is changing and it's painful for them to watch, but they are not giving up on them.
The chorus "But I'm waiting and it's painful/To watch you change from day to day and memories/But I'm waiting and I know you/I know you're right to watch the crime from far away/You're far away" suggests that the singer wants the other person to know that they still care about them and believe in them, but they also recognize that they need to give them space while they work through their issues. The lyrics "All these eyes will cry for far away" could mean that there are observers who are unhappy with the current situation and wish that the two would reconcile and overcome their differences so that things can get back to the way they once were.

I went without coffee for 2 months during boot camp. The day I graduated I went to a restaurant with my family and had a cup of coffee, and it was truly amazing. Couldn’t stop talking/smiling. Didn’t eat anything, just sat there basking in caffeine’s glory. Very powerful. And I’m very addicted.

I’m sure it’s a fundamental component in producing those awesome stories you upload, too! Big fan, btw. I appreciate your channel. ☕️
@991Weeman
I was so tired on basic training, falling asleep all the time during lessons. If I had caffeine it would have been much easier to learn

My mom started giving me coffee with breakfast in 1st grade. Basic training was the longest time since I was 6 I went without coffee. My dad would have espresso and brandy breaks when he was an Airman at Lajes. We’re a family of addicts.

I basically gave up coffee three months ago, as well as virtually no caffeine intake. I had my first two shots of Starbucks espresso after three months and it was so powerful and intense I wanted to run and walk for miles for hours. That same night my sleep was utterly ruined, I woke up multiple times in the middle of the night. Very powerful drug. I think I am going to continue this caffeine free lifestyle for the foreseeable future. Decaf if I want to "treat" myself.
@heygoogle6133
How do you feel off caffeine?
@wellactually21
@@heygoogle6133you reach the state of nirvana.
@kramnewton8683
When I’ve been addicted to anything I’ve always felt that I’m either up or down. If I just consumed the drug, I’m up, and if it’s been hours since, I’m crashed, I feel I need another hit, or sleep.. It’s been two weeks off coffee for me and my energy throughout the day is just at a normal level.. There’s no huge peak in the morning, then crash by noon, then another coffee, then spending my evenings really tired/crashed. My sleeps improved, I just feel normal. I can’t believe I spent like 20 years on caffeine.
