But lots of things don't matter
Jane brings me lots of things
But lots of things don't matter
At all, at all, at all
Jane brings me lots of things
But lots of things don't matter
But lots of things don't matter
At all, at all
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane brings me lots of things
But lots of things don't matter
Jane brings me lots of things
But lots of things don't matter
At all, at all, at all
Jane brings me lots of things
But lots of things don't matter
Jane brings me lots of things
But lots of things don't matter
At all, at all, at all
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
Jane makes three
The song "Jane" by Cake Like is a simple, repetitive tune with only a few lines of lyrics that are repeated throughout. The verses talk about a person named Jane who brings the singer lots of things, but they don't seem to matter much. The repeated line "Jane makes three" seems to imply that there are three key things that Jane brings to the singer, but what those things are is left up to interpretation. The song's overall message seems to be that material possessions are not as important as the people we surround ourselves with.
The repetition of the lyrics creates a sense of unease and frustration, as if the singer is trying to communicate something important but can't quite articulate it. The line about Jane making three could suggest that the things she brings represent different aspects of the singer's life - perhaps physical possessions, emotional support, and intellectual stimulation. However, the fact that the things don't seem to matter implies that the singer is searching for something more meaningful.
Overall, "Jane" is a simple but mysterious song that leaves much up to the listener's interpretation. It seems to speak to a universal feeling of discontentment with materialism and a desire for deeper connections with the people in our lives.
