California Stories Uncovered is five-piece Polish rock band formed at the t… Read Full Bio ↴California Stories Uncovered is five-piece Polish rock band formed at the turn of 2005 in Tczew, Poland. Self-released their first EP in April 2007. Played several shows around the country including Union of Rock Festival in Wegorzewo. In the meantime, Piotr Stelmach from Polish Radio Three invited CSU to take part in compilation called "Piotr Stelmach presents: Offensywa 2". Couple of months later Pawel joined the band. The new line-up played first gig at "Transvizualia" Festival in Gdynia. In October 2007 CSU also performed live at Polish Radio Three supported by additional musicians.

In 2008, apart from playing gigs in all major Polish cities, the band had the opportunity to give some shows outside the country (the Czech Republic, Finland, the UK). Played couple of festivals including "Heineken Opener" and "Jarocin Festiwal" in Poland as well as "Mathew Street Festival" and "Creamfields" in the UK. Also, performed on one stage with such bands as This Will Destroy You, Caspian and iLiKETRAiNS. Finally, met fantastic people from KUKA Records - Polish independent label which is going to release CSU's first full-length album.

„Confabulations”, as the album is called, will be released on October 3rd 2009. It's been recorded in July 2009 at Green Studio, located just few miles outside Cracow. The new material might by quite surprising for those who just know band's first, instrumental incarnation. Known as strictly instrumental band, recorded songs with vocals and lyrics that are as important as the music itself.

Over half a century ago, a team of some of the most well respected geologists, paleontologists, and archeologists uncovered human artifacts near Puebla, Mexico that were so old it stunned everyone involved. Common belief is that humans have only been in the Americas for a very short time period of at most 20,000 years.

A gigantic cover up and attempt to discredit the lead archeologist took place soon after. Artifacts went missing and the lead archeologist was essentially banned from the site.

Decades later, there were what some researchers thought to be bipedal footprints found in a layer of ash that was dated to be over 1 million years old.

Keep in mind that the footprint section of this subject is just sugar on top. The real ground breaking discoveries were found at Hueyatlaco and the possible footprints just add the mystery. There is disagreement over whether or not they are footprints. This same date was used as the reason to dismiss them as footprints. “Given the age of the volcanic rock and lacking other evidence of early human ancestors in the Americas 1.3 million years ago, the researchers wrote in their paper, "we consider such a possibility to be extremely remote."”

I can understand why people do not think they are foot prints. They are not perfectly preserved prints like you would find in New Mexico. That being said, I personally don’t believe the date should be what dismisses the possibility that they’re footprints, especially with everything that’s been discovered in the region.

As always, I am open to all thoughts and opinions. What do you all think? Is it possible these are foot prints? Did Cynthia Irwin Williams take a misstep somewhere in her archeology? Or is it possible that Human History in the Americas is far more Ancient than is currently accepted?

This is very interesting and a shame we don't have more of the original documentation and artifacts. As for the footprints: One problem with them that makes them inconclusive as to their origin is they really look a lot like what is referred to in tracking as an "indirect register". This is when an animal steps close to, or partially into, its own track or that of another. (A direct register is when an animal steps directly into its track.) Many animals do this out of habit because stepping into or close to a previous track insures better footing most of the time and makes it easier to walk in different terrain. It is very common to see.

One animal that has tracks similar to some of the ones shown here is a bear. Bears have a tendency to step into, or slightly in front of, the track left by their front paw with their back paw and leave a deceptively "human" shaped print as a result. Contrary to popular belief, claws do not always show up in bear prints.

One way to know for sure if it is human or something else is if you are lucky enough to have a trackway with multiple prints in a row from the same animal, if it is from an animal like a bear it will look like the interior arch of the foot turns out the wrong way, to the outside of the foot instead of inside as is normal for a human or primate. If you only have a single track than it is hard to confirm this because you can't be positive which foot you are looking at. In this series of images we are lucky to have a few images that indicate these are not likely to be human, but indirect registers from an animal. This outward turned arch can be seen in alternating prints at 23:28 and in a few images after that.

There is always room for dispute and the limited number of these multiple prints is cause for this, which is why I would say this is inconclusive evidence. That said, it is less likely for there to be 1 million year old footprints in the Americas making this evidence lean more towards animal and not human.

There is also the presence of many other types of animal prints here indicating this was likely a mud flat/watering hole that dried up or was buried soon after these tracks were made.

In 1993, I was traveling with my Wife at the time on the highway close to the Mexican Border and to the West of Del Rio TX a fair distance and stopped at a road side store on the south side of the Highway where an American Indian ran the store. We struck up a conversation and he mentioned that a few years before, that he was hunting in the area just North of where his store was and found clear and well defined human foot prints in the stone. How many foot prints he found I didn't ask him, however it stuck in my mind as quite profound. Even though he was an American Indian, he told me that he had been unable to trace his route while hunting to that location, but if ever found it would be worthy of scientific review. Since then, and recently I have viewed a number of video on Indian Civilizations in Mexico, and Central and South America as well as some general history of the Indians of North America. It is obvious that there were MANY migrations of peoples out of Asia across Beringia and Alaska and down the coast Lines of the America's as well as over land routes. It would appear that in the time period of the last 1,000 years that there were at least two migrations of Indian's OUT of Central Mexico - the first to escape the Aztec's and the second were of the same tribal group but escaping the Spanish in the after math of the fall of the Aztec Empire. The second migration of these Indians settled in the coastal areas of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and into Florida. There is much yet to know especially in the DNA area that can be used to trace origins, but one thing is clear, and that is we have just scratched the surface of the American Indian in all of the America's.

I've read Hardaker's book, also Cremo and Thompson's Forbidden Archeology where they also discuss this case at length. The original work was solid enough. The follow up work in 2001 confirms that. The date is probably well in excess of 250,000 years, probably closer to 1,000,000 years. Everybody was afraid of that Spaniard running the National Museum. Everything official had to go through him, so if he didn't like what somebody was doing, he could shut them down on a whim. That's what happens when you give a man too much power. So science doesn't advance only because of the prejudice of stubborn and jealous "mainstream" thinkers. What the hell IS the "mainstream" but an impediment to progress??

I can confirm, as a fellow Pleistocene Coalition researcher/writer, that Chris' account is straight and true. More can be found, which confirms the most ancient age for the Xalnene Tuff footprints by Puebla, Mexico, in the pages of our newsletter, where numerous articles by Chris and Virginia Steen-McIntyre dealing with this appear. Michael Cremo is also a Coalition member and yes, I too read FA and I've used it a lot to guide my own research.

I remember reading about this about 40 years ago. They were clearly certain that these remains were at least 40,000 years old, and that was persisting for a few years before I finally wasn't hearing anything about it anymore but 40,000 years old was the age that I was hearing at the time. We actually had to explain how people can get here other than across the Bering land bridge. Because that's not where most of the Indians in North America came from much less South America. When the white man got to North America, the haplogroup American Indians and some of them go as far out as the Cheyenne into Wyoming. Will tell you that they came in boats across the Atlantic. Others came from across the Pacific. They actually remember when the yellow people came, the Chinese, about 1,200 years ago.
Most of the South American Indians came across the Pacific island hopping. Some of the people in South America on the Eastern Shore, and even a couple of small groups, and Central and North America, were carthaginians that it escaped after the destruction of Carthage. People have been coming to this continent for a long long time from multiple different places.

I think a bunch of scientists of every specialty are having strokes right now. They still have horrible euro-bias and have acquired a few centuries of arrogance and misplaced certainties that are being wrecked by the day. Thank you for this story. Every horizontal layer that we find everywhere on our planet will have footprints somewhere. These layers are clearly the effect of a repeating cataclysm. These disasters cause a huge tidal wave of seawater that washes over land, even "above the highest mountains." At the end it covers the earth with a thick layer of wet mud, a mixture of sand, clay, lime, shells, fossils of marine and terrestrial animals and small and larger meteorites. Survivors walked over this mud layer before it was hardened. Some of their footprints are recorded in this layer forever. These disasters are mentioned in ancient books. I've always theorized that these ruins across the Americas, especially in North America, are covered up so the there can be no other "claim" of the land by other countries.

When you see something for yourself you believe more. About 65 years ago my dad knew the man that owned land by what is now Dinosaur State Park, Glen Rose Texas. He let us kids play in the dinosaur and HUMAN tracks. No-one had cut them out yet but they did later. Why is man afraid? why hide it? If it's there it's there! When they dated to 14k years ago the last ice age archaeologists never dug any deeper than that layer. It was only when mavericks dig deeper in caves for instance signs of human occupation went back over 100k years.

They found cracked bones, underneath a construction site where heavy machinery was driving back and forth for years, in other words you'd be surprised if they weren't cracked. The house they built was right on top of the site you're talking about it destroyed it. When they tried to go back years later they wouldn't give them permits so finally they went out by themselves and they understood why.

High Folks,
It had been snowing. Two feet at least. They had been forced to flee from some saber tooth tigers, and they lost their snow shoes and cracked through the February snow crust. I don't think all three of them made it. The one with the wrapped arch was suffering the most. That person gave his snow shoe so the other might live.
All tracks tell stories. One just has to try to put things together. Did they find his knife or spear? Broken with some tooth enamel still embedded? I wonder.

There are aspects, such as the bones that can be verified, however the foot prints are very subjective, and could possibly be volcanic bombs that landed there. I think that if they were prints they would be more in line with a person actually walking there, but they seem too scattered and of different shape. Look at the footprints found in the volcanic sand in Africa. They show that actual hominids did walk there. These are not like them, and may well be something more natural, than being made by a hominid.

The current archaeological narrative of the Americas is Incorrect; but so is Cynthia's work. Radioisotope dating begins with Several Huge Assumptions. None of them can be accepted as Definitive. As well, Carbon14 Dating has been proven to be Extremely Unreliable and Inaccurate beyond 1500 BC.
I am very familiar with this case as I have been following the Archaeological Research from around the world since I was five years old. I am presently 55. So, this is an area that has been strong interest and passion of mine all my life. After much careful consideration over many years I found myself having to be honest and rejecting the notion of an old timeline for mankind, as well as for dinosaurs. The evidence for a Young Earth being too strong to ignore.
