Find A Way

We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
Well I'm here then I'm gone
I'm trying to find my way home
Say what's the difference between
Where I am and what I've seen
Well I'm here then I'm gone
I'm trying to find my way home
Say what's the difference between
Where I am and what I've seen
Find me I'm lost, keep safe I'm gone
Find me I'm lost, keep safe I'm gone
Feels like they got you in their pocket
Way down, way down, way down, way down, way down
Feels like they got you in their pocket
Way down, way down, way down, way down, way down
Feels like they got you in their pocket
Way down, way down, way down, way down, way down
Feels like they got you in their pocket
Way down, way down, way down, way down, way down
Find me I'm lost
Keep safe I'm gone
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way to make it together
We got to find a way
In "Find a Way," Callum Easter sings about finding a way to unite and overcome circumstances that may otherwise divide us. The repetition of the phrase "We got to find a way to make it together" emphasizes the urgency of his message, as though he is imploring us to take action and work towards a common goal.
Throughout the song, Easter grapples with his own sense of displacement - of being present in one place while feeling drawn to another. He wonders aloud about the difference between where he is now and what he has seen in the past. The lines "Well I'm here then I'm gone, I'm trying to find my way home" further underscore this feeling of being unmoored and searching for a sense of belonging.
The repetition of the two lines "Find me I'm lost, keep safe I'm gone" towards the end of the song is especially poignant. These two lines seem to convey a sense of vulnerability, as though Easter is pleading with someone to find him when he is lost and keep him safe when he is not available. Overall, "Find a Way" is a song about the power of collective action and the importance of finding a sense of home and belonging, even amidst uncertainty and displacement.

Brilliant track! Loose gospel tinged feel reminiscent of Primal Scream at their finest. The Delete Forever EP, where this track is taken from, is one of the best things released in 2017.
