Electro man, Electronic woman
I went outside wearing my device
I came back in wearing the same device, as you
Electro man, Electronic man
Electro man, Electronic woman
I went outside wearing my device
You don't believe me, but I would go anywhere with you
I would go anywhere with you
Uh uh
I would go anywhere with you
I would go anywhere with you
You don't believe me, but I would go anywhere with you
I would go anywhere with you
Uh uh
I would go anywhere with you
I would go anywhere with you
Electro man, Electronic man
Electro man, Electronic woman
I went outside wearing my device
I came back in wearing the same device, as you
Electro man, Electronic man
Electro man, Electronic woman
I went outside wearing my device
I came back in wearing the same device, as you
The lyrics of Calvin Harris's song Electro Man seem to have a robotic, futuristic feel to them. The repeated phrases of "Electro man, Electronic man" and "Electro man, Electronic woman" give the sense of a computerized world where humans are plugged in and connected to electronic devices. The lines "I went outside wearing my device, I came back in wearing the same device, as you" further emphasize this concept of being constantly connected to technology. The repetition of the phrase "I would go anywhere with you" could also be interpreted as a desire to always be connected to someone, to never be alone and always have someone by your side.
Overall, the lyrics of Electro Man seem to be an exploration of the relationship between human beings and technology. It presents a world where technology is an integral part of our lives and we cannot function without it. The lyrics could also be seen as a commentary on the dangers of being over-reliant on technology, and how it can alienate us from each other and the world around us.
