… Read Full Bio ↴There have been at least three artists sharing the name Camouflage;
The name is used by a German synthpop band, a Japanese idol group based in Nagoya whose name is officially styled as "CAMOUFLAGE", and a Swedish new wave band (later named Tapirerna).
German: The German synthpop trio Camouflage was officially formed in 1984 by vocalist Marcus Meyn and keyboardists/programmers Heiko Maile and Oliver Kreyssig. The group took first place in a radio-sponsored song contest in 1986, and before long, their debut single, "The Great Commandment," was scaling the German charts. Their full-length debut, Voices and Images, was released in 1988, reflecting the group's classic new wave synth-pop influences, but most of all Depeche Mode. 1989's Methods of Silence began to broaden Camouflage's sonic palette, yet the Depeche Mode sound still remained at the forefront. Oliver Kreyssig then left the group, leaving Maile and Meyn as a duo augmented by several studio musicians. By the time of 1991's Meanwhile, Camouflage had garnered a not insignificant following on college radio; the album moved still farther away from synthpop and incorporated greater instrumentation. However, with the advent of grunge, synthpop lost a great deal of its footing on college radio; Camouflage soon found itself without an American record deal. 1993's Bodega Bohemia, available only as an import, moved back towards synth-oriented music and took a darker tone than much of their previous work. The mostly instrumental Spice Crackers followed in 1995, after which the future of the band was cast into doubt; a best-of compilation, We Stroke the Flames, was released in Germany in 1997.
They released their comeback "Sensor" in 2003; "Relocated" in 2006.
CAMOUFLAGE is a Japanese idol group from Nagoya. They debuted at an event in October of 2012. Member Takasaki Shouko plays guitar during their live performances, and she is also well-known for her gravure work. CAMOUFLAGE sold out their first solo concert in the space of two days. Their first single "KIMOCHI Choukousoku" was released on the 3rd of March 2013, which was produced in a limited edition of 300 copies. There are currently seven CAMOUFLAGE members: Tatematsu Asu, Sakura Mone, Shiina Azusa, Takasaki Shouko, Yamashita Moe, Kamiya Runa, and Sanjou Katsuki. Three other members were once part of the group, but have since graduated: Itou Erika, Yashino Sakura, and Kawai Miori.
Aside from music activity, the members of CAMOUFLAGE are involved in various local entertainment: they have appeared in TV dramas, variety shows (including their own regularly-scheduled internet show, BILLY CAM(e)), and they also regularly host radio programs.
Swedish: Camouflage was a new wave / goth band from Gothenburg, Sweden. They released three albums in the eighties. The first one was "Camouflage" which came in 1985. Their second album was "En Förtjusande Vän" in 1986. The third was called "La La La" in 1988.
After their third album they changed their name to Tapirerna because of the German band with same name.

Days Run Wild
Camouflage Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
when plans were my religion.
A world of schemes,
925 dreams prediction
But I confess, got into a mess
'cause all my days run wild
Days run wild,
while I'm wondering
All things I've planned
got right out of my hands
and leave me upside down.
Lost my smile
and my friend, Mr. "green-
back" Washington.
In God we trust
but it's business or bust
and no God's on your side
when days run wild
Mirror, mirror,
be my great deceiver
The truth you tell
makes me a true believer
But the face I see
seems no part of me
Now all my days run wild
The lyrics of Camouflage's song Days Run Wild touch upon the frustration and disillusionment felt by the singer when their carefully laid plans go awry. The opening lines describe a time when the singer's plans were their "religion" and their life was full of schemes and dreams, but something has gone wrong, and they are now lost and confused. The line "925 dreams prediction" may refer to the idea that one's future should be predictable by their possessions or status symbols, such as a 9-to-5 job and a 2.5 children household.
The chorus emphasizes the singer's feelings of powerlessness in the face of the chaos of their life, with their days running wild and everything they've planned slipping out of their hands. They feel they have lost their smile and the support of their friend "Mr. 'green-back' Washington," possibly referring to the financial strain they're under. The line "In God we trust but it's business or bust" touches upon the conflict between spirituality and materialism that the singer is grappling with. They feel that there is no higher power on their side as they navigate the overwhelming responsibilities and uncertainties of modern life.
The final verses involve the singer talking to a mirror, searching for a sense of themselves in the face they see. They ask the mirror to be their "great deceiver," implying that they want to believe in a falsehood that will make their situation easier to bear. The reflection they see seems no part of them, suggesting they've lost their connection to their true selves. All in all, Days Run Wild captures the confusion, disappointment, and existential crisis that can result when life doesn't go as planned.

I used to prioritize my plans above all else

My life was full of elaborate plans and strategies
925 dreams prediction
I had countless dreams and aspirations for the future
But I confess, got into a mess
However, I must admit that I have found myself in a difficult situation
'cause all my days run wild
Because my plans have gone awry and my life is no longer predictable
Days run wild,
My days are chaotic and unpredictable
while I'm wondering
While I try to figure out
what's going wrong
What went awry and how to fix it
All things I've planned
Everything I have strategized for
got right out of my hands
Slipped from my grasp and out of my control
and leave me upside down.
Have left me in a state of disarray and confusion
Lost my smile
I have lost my happiness
and my friend, Mr. "green-back" Washington.
I have lost my financial stability
In God we trust
We trust in a higher power
but it's business or bust
But in reality, it is all about success in business
and no God's on your side
There is no divine intervention to aid you in your struggles
when days run wild
When life becomes unpredictable and chaotic
Mirror, mirror,
Addressing oneself in the mirror
be my great deceiver
To deceive me into believing I am still the person I once was
The truth you tell
The reality that it reflects
makes me a true believer
Forces me to acknowledge the truth and face the reality of the situation
But the face I see
The reflection I see in the mirror
seems no part of me
No longer matches who I really am
Now all my days run wild
My life has become unpredictable and chaotic
