You have no idea how actually hard this is to play and they are so talented that it sounds easy. It is not, especially the trumpet parts.
Stephen Locke
I definitely agree. I play trumpet, and lead on it in a number of bands, but i certainly could never play this.

Stephen Locke never is a strong word. I’m trying to play it and I’m only in 9th grade but I guess you gotta start somewhere
Sebastian Gonzalez
I’m playing this in a high school quintet and the tuba part isn’t the hardest thing (which I play) but the trumpet parts are pretty difficult
Uli Utz
You have to keep in mind that they play with eb trumpets and you most certainly play with bb trumpets which makes it a lot harder. Highest note in this is a c, from what i'm hearing, not too easy playing that note nice and smooth.
Graham Rossiter
It's probably not too controversial to say many believe J S Bach to be the finest composer of fugues the world has yet seen. I know this piece from the organ score but this works superbly for brass, each voice adding a unique and complementary tone, strengthening the whole while underlining the counterpoint. Excellently delivered.

I've heard countless renditions of the Little Fugue over some 60 years and this one continues to be one of the most exciting.
