What Does It Take
Candy Dulfer Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

What does it take to win your love for me?
How can I make this dream come true for me?
Oh, I just got to know,
Oh, baby, 'cause I love you so,
Gonna blow for you

I've tried, I've tried, I've tried,
I've tried in every way
I could to make you see how much I love you
Oh, I thought you understood

So you gotta make me see,
What does it take to win your love for me?

Candy is fantastic and so is Jonathan, so in sync. Thank you for this excellent performance.👏👏💖💖

This is one of my all time favorite songs. Jonathan Butler is a fantastic musician and Candy Dulfer is the bomb on a saxaphone!

Cowboy Joe

Just discovered this artist & her music. The lady is not only attractive but her instrumentation playing is very crisp....just awesome, definitely going into my music collection.

MADE THEIR OWN TAKE ON THIS ICONIC TRACK. I ENJOYED IT THOROUGHLY.

The Yellow Cursor

I heard this song when it first came out because I was and still am a Candyl Dulfer fan but I didn't quite jive with it despite being fans of Candy and Jonathan's but recently Peter White did a version and I searched out the original that it was based and so glad I did. Jr Walker's version is sublime. This version strays too far away from the original for me which is why I didn't realize Candy had covered it.

beverly delello
