With that album, he became an official member of the Wu-Tang Killa Beez, and from there on out, he frequently appeared on Wu records. In 1996, he played a large role on Ghostface Killah's Ironman.
During 1997, his Wu affiliation continued, as he rapped on the Clan's second album, Wu-Tang Forever.
Cappadonna's solo debut, The Pillage, finally appeared in March 1998. Like any Wu project, the record featured RZA as the executive producer and cameos from a number of other Wu members, including Method Man, U-God, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon. As the sixth Wu solo project, the album was an instant success upon its release, debuting at number three on the charts.
A sophomore effort, The Yin and the Yang, followed in early 2001. His third and latest album, The Struggle, was released on Code:Red in 2003.
The MC remained active in the following years releasing mix-CDs, doing tours and joining Ghostface Killah’s Theodore Unit. But his official comeback came at the end of 2007 on the Wu-Tang Clan’s fifth studio album 8 Diagrams. Cappa blessed the opening cut with an extraordinary verse and showed up on two other songs.
Cappadonna inked a deal with new indie label Chambermusik Records/Koch in 2008. Old and new fans have been asking for new Cappadonna ever since and on January 27, 2009, their wait will be over with the release of Slang Prostitution.

Cappadonna Lyrics

(I'm listening) Right there at the wrinkle
(Who over there?) Yeah, this is the body snatchers
(Buddha, get him, man) Invasion, slang gargoyles
(Right right) Nigga, we eat tracks for a living
(Tell him again, Don) The beats anonymous
Ya'll niggas is taking up space, straight up
Snatching one of ya'll niggas up from the background
The new movies that's out right now, with the fucking
People on the juggle, straight up and down
Aiyo, my thoughts jump around like a dog in a river
The heat I deliver, the beat, I get rid of
To send him, I hit 'em when I'm a getter
The fat rhyme spitter, heavy with the flow
Somebody got to go, somebody got to know
I blow a mic, flow's are getting closer
Caught up in the ponderer, chrome toaster
Five broker, face poker
African rice, fish head, a little ocra
I get folker, Staten Oprah, CD poster
He's a vulture, knowledge culture
Eat kosher, end of the day, do what I'm 'posed ta
Somebody got to go I get closer, the show roaster
Lounge'll rope ya, Stone Gang niggas'll smoke ya
Somebody gotta gosta!
[Chorus]
Somebody's got to go
Somebody's got to go
I can't stand this jive no longer
Somebody's, somebody's
Somebody's got to go
Somebody gotta go, I spit flow
That shit that make you wanna get dough
If I don't sell rap, I pitch snow
Ya chick slow, might see Don with a thick ho
My click come you better be out
T.C. out, break bread, hustle and pop lead
Throw darts, come off the head, break bread
Park Heeze, get greasy, we doin it easy
Brains in the five yeah they always please me
Try but can't freeze me, I'm too hot for MTV
Burn ya TV, niggas cee me as P-I
Double L-A-G-E, my dogs go hard
Chicks give me head, B!
[Chorus]
Incredible flows, athletical blows
ACG's on my feet, supply heat
Fry beefs, all my guys eat
We in here, Chambermusik take your cream
Honor Management, live your dream
Somebody got to go - get that steam
Clear the block off, run fast, hold your bean
Raw scene, our life's like a movie screen
Rated R, hood superstars, great green in jars
The streets is ours, we beating the odds
Roll out, heat in da cars, from deep in the garage
Put beef in the broadz, put skeet in they bras
Me and my man, yo, we just cheating the laws
[Chorus]
In Cappadonna's song Somebody, he talks about taking over and dominating the rap game. The lyrics discuss how he and his group, the body snatchers, will break the face of anyone in their way. The beats are anonymous, and they eat tracks for a living, so any competition is just taking up space. Cappadonna also touches on the idea of someone needing to go or die for the sake of progress, and how he's not afraid to deliver the heat and firepower to get to the top.
Throughout the song, Cappadonna showcases his abilities as a rapper, spitting out rapid rhymes and wordplay. He talks about his skilled flow and delivery, and mentions how he sells rap and even pitches snow. He claims to be too hot for MTV, and how he and his colleagues, Park Heeze, T.C. and Stone Gang, are all too unstoppable in taking over the music industry, while also dodging the law.
Overall, the song is about domination and taking over, with Cappadonna and his group aiming for the top by any means necessary.
