1) capsule is an electronic duo, formed in Kanazawa, Japan in 1997 by Yasutaka Nakata (co-producer, art director) and Toshiko Koshijima (vocals). They are part of the shibuya-kei movement that started in 1990, most notably by Pizzicato Five. In March of 2001, they made their first single with Yamaha Music, 'Sakura'. Their music contains elements of bossa nova, ye-ye, nu jazz, lounge, breakbeat, and most recently, electro house. In 2003, Yasutaka created his own label, Contemode, and has produced other artists on the label, such as Perfume, COLTEMONIKHA, NAGISA COSMETIC and Meg. Nakata has described the music produced by Contemode acts as "an accessory to fashion", and the band's music can often be found for sale in fashion boutiques in Shibuya, Japan.

Determinal
Capsule Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Capsule's song Determinal are open to interpretation, as with many of their songs, but this particular line could suggest a feeling of being weighed down by past mistakes or burdens. The reference to chains implies a sense of being trapped, or perhaps bound to something inescapable. The phrase "trust in weight" suggests that this burden is something that the singer feels they must carry, despite the difficulty it causes. The line "drag to heave no sky no witness" further emphasizes this sense of isolation, suggesting that there is nobody there to witness their struggle or offer help.
Overall, the lyrics of Determinal explore themes of struggle, perseverance, and determination. The song encourages listeners to keep fighting, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The use of abstract language and surreal imagery adds to the sense of uncertainty and ambiguity, leaving the listener to draw their own conclusions about the meaning behind the lyrics.
