1) capsule (Japan), an electronic duo on their own label, Contemode.
2) Capsule (Miami, Florida), a hardcore/screamo band currently signed to Robotic Empire.
1) capsule is an electronic duo, formed in Kanazawa, Japan in 1997 by Yasutaka Nakata (co-producer, art director) and Toshiko Koshijima (vocals). They are part of the shibuya-kei movement that started in 1990, most notably by Pizzicato Five. In March of 2001, they made their first single with Yamaha Music, 'Sakura'. Their music contains elements of bossa nova, ye-ye, nu jazz, lounge, breakbeat, and most recently, electro house. In 2003, Yasutaka created his own label, Contemode, and has produced other artists on the label, such as Perfume, COLTEMONIKHA, NAGISA COSMETIC and Meg. Nakata has described the music produced by Contemode acts as "an accessory to fashion", and the band's music can often be found for sale in fashion boutiques in Shibuya, Japan.
2) Capsule is a hardcore band from Miami Beach. Started in 2004 by Eric Hernandez & Colin Smith, the band tours the United States frequently. They released a couple records on Dippy Records and in 2008, Robotic Empire released the critically acclaimed “Blue” on 12” vinyl and CD.

Get Down Get Down
The lyrics to Capsule's song "Get Down" speak to the idea of getting up and moving. The first lines reference a strobe light and the sound of it flashing. This sets the tone for a lively and energetic song that encourages movement. The next lines use the phrase "hikaru yo" which means "shine" or "light up" and "ugokasou" which means "let's move." These lines are basically telling the listener to "light up" and get going. The repetition of "Get Down Get Down" adds to the idea of movement and encourages the listener to keep going.
The next verse talks about doing exercise together. The phrase "chotto dake dakara" means "just a little bit" or "since it's only a little bit" and "minna de exercise" means "exercise together." This verse is emphasizing the idea of community and working together to achieve a goal. The repetition of "Get Down Get Down" reinforces that this is something that should be done enthusiastically and repeatedly.
The final verse is about how moving your body can make you feel good. The phrase "kimochi dake" means "just the feeling" and "ii yo ne ugokasou" means "it's good to move." This verse is emphasizing the idea of enjoying the activity and how it can make you feel good. The repetition of "Get Down Get Down" reminds the listener to keep going and that this is a fun and worthwhile activity.
