When ever I stop and think about the many times we faced impossible odds,
Reflecting on the past moments when we faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles,

When the hopelessness and despair felt so intense,
Even at the darkest moments when things felt hopeless and despairing,

That we didn’t think we could hold out any longer.
Despite feeling like we couldn't continue any longer.

Yet time and again we were given the grace to overcome those odds,
Despite the odds stacked against us, we found the strength to overcome them time and time again.

Now what it proves to me is, we got angels watchin’ over us.
These experiences prove to me that we have angels helping us along the way.
