Royalties from the album will be donated to unidentified charitable and humanitarian cause.
Moon River
Carla Bruni Lyrics

I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're going, I'm going your way
Two drifters, off to see the world
There's such a lot of world to see, mmhm
We're after the same rainbow's end
My Huckleberry Friend, Moon River, and me
Mm
Mm
Mm, mm, mm
Mm, mm, mm
Two drifters, off to see the world
There's such a lot of world to see
We're after that same rainbow's end
Waiting, round the bend
My Huckleberry Friend, Moon River, and me
Mm
Carla Bruni's rendition of the classic song "Moon River" is a tribute to the journey that two people take together, regardless of where life may take them. The lyrics talk about how the moonlit river is wider than a mile, and how the dream maker, who is also the heart breaker, is leading the way. The two drifters are in search of adventure and to see the world, and as they embark on their journey, they are after the same "rainbow's end." The lyrics are a metaphor for the shared experiences and the ups and downs that they will encounter along the way.
