Me quiero escapar, me quiero olvidar, no quiero sufrir
Me quiero escapar, me quiero olvidar
No quiero sufrir
Me quiero escapar, me quiero olvidar
No quiero sufrir
In Carlos Baute's song "Donde Esta el Amor Que No Duele," he expresses feelings of exhaustion and frustration with relationships that cause pain and suffering. He says that he's tired of having to be patient and enduring so much sadness and frustration. He no longer wants to deal with the discomfort, pain, and misery that come with being in a relationship. He's at the point where he wants to escape, forget his problems, and stop suffering. He wants to live a life without problems, troubles, and miseries. He wants to know where the love that doesn't hurt is, where the love that doesn't damage or scratch his skin is.
Throughout the song, Baute seeks to find where he can experience love without suffering. He's curious about whether or not love without pain exists. He's aware that he's living with so much violence and uncertainty and he doesn't want to live that way anymore. He feels like someone is playing roulette with him, and he can't continue to live like that. He wants to know where he can find love that doesn't hurt or cause damage to his life. He yearns for an answer to this question, "Dime en donde está el amor que no duele" (tell me where the love that doesn't hurt is).
The song's lyrics communicate the difficulties and challenges faced in relationships that cause pain and heartache. The artist is seeking a solution to these problems and a way to find a love that doesn't cause suffering. The song is relatable to anyone who has been in a difficult relationship or has felt let down by love.
