Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
The lyrics of "100 Años" by Carlos Rivera and Maluma revolves around the fear of losing a love that they thought was eternal. The song starts with Carlos Rivera expressing his concern about the changes he notices in his partner. He is afraid that their love has suddenly died, and he doesn't want to lose it. He reminisces the good old days when their love was new, and they had promised each other to keep it forever. However, things seem different now, and he implores his partner not to leave him, knowing that it would shatter his heart. He is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the love they both share alive.
The chorus of the song highlights the fact that even though there may not be any problem that lasts for a hundred years, Carlos Rivera and Maluma would not want to be the first ones to experience it. They acknowledge the rarity of a love like theirs and how it's worth fighting for. They plead with their partner to forgive them for any mistakes they may have made and not to give up on their love. The song has a mix of Spanish and Colombian slangs, which add to its uniqueness and cultural richness.
