During the next two decades Carman changed the face of Christian music and evolved contemporary evangelism into what it is today. Carman established "Carman World Outreach," a non-profit organization that helps touch the lives of literally millions of people worldwide. Billboard Magazine recognized Carman's influence in Christian music by first naming him "Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year" in 1990. He has received numerous gold and platinum albums and videos. Even with all this success, the heartbeat of this Champion for Christ continues to beat strong for the souls of people who need Jesus. As an outflow of this passion, Carman had more than 50,000 people attend his "Music for Peace" crusade in Johannesburg, South Africa. These numbers topped the charts as his largest concert crusade ever, until more than 70,000 people packed the legendary Texas Stadium, making it the largest Christian concert in history.
For over 26 years, Carman has entertained, encouraged and preached the Gospel to millions-crossing denominational, cultural and ethnic lines. During this time, he has never compromised the call to take the Gospel to every person.
Carman died on February 16, 2021 (28 days after his 65th birthday) in a Las Vegas hospital, after a series of complications resulting from surgery to repair a hiatal hernia. He was survived by his ex-wife, five stepchildren and ten step-grandchildren.

Never be a heart that He
Couldn't mend each broken piece
Never be a wounded soul He would Ignore
There'll never be a time that He
Would ever turn His back on me
There'll never be a life He can't restore
Where do you go when you feel like
Purely forgotten, all alone?
WHat do you do when your dreams have
Been broken and shattered
Does it really matter to anyone?
Tere is a Man standig with arms open wide
Drying the tears that I've cried
Loving me and giving life
And there'll....
Repeat Chorus
Never will I doubt again
I will never be without a friend
Never will my eyes fail to see
What the Lord did for me
And There'll.....
Repeat Chorus
Carman's song "Never Be" is a heartfelt declaration of the unwavering love of God, who is always there to mend a broken heart, heal a wounded soul, and restore a broken life. The song begins by saying that there is no heart that God couldn't mend, no soul He would ignore, and no time that He would ever turn His back on us. The chorus repeats this message of God's faithfulness, reminding us that He can restore any life.
The first verse of the song asks a series of questions that reflect the feelings of pain, loneliness, and despair that we sometimes experience in life. The singer wonders where to go when feeling forsaken, forgotten, and alone. He questions whether anyone cares about his broken dreams and shattered hopes. But then the second half of the verse presents a hopeful image of a man standing with open arms, ready to comfort and love the singer.
The chorus repeats the central theme of the song, assuring us that God will never abandon us or leave us to suffer alone. Even when we doubt or feel friendless, we can trust in the love and mercy of God to see us through.
Overall, "Never Be" is a powerful message of hope that inspires us to trust in the unchanging love of God, no matter what challenges we may face in life.
