During the next two decades Carman changed the face of Christian music and evolved contemporary evangelism into what it is today. Carman established "Carman World Outreach," a non-profit organization that helps touch the lives of literally millions of people worldwide. Billboard Magazine recognized Carman's influence in Christian music by first naming him "Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year" in 1990. He has received numerous gold and platinum albums and videos. Even with all this success, the heartbeat of this Champion for Christ continues to beat strong for the souls of people who need Jesus. As an outflow of this passion, Carman had more than 50,000 people attend his "Music for Peace" crusade in Johannesburg, South Africa. These numbers topped the charts as his largest concert crusade ever, until more than 70,000 people packed the legendary Texas Stadium, making it the largest Christian concert in history.
For over 26 years, Carman has entertained, encouraged and preached the Gospel to millions-crossing denominational, cultural and ethnic lines. During this time, he has never compromised the call to take the Gospel to every person.
Carman died on February 16, 2021 (28 days after his 65th birthday) in a Las Vegas hospital, after a series of complications resulting from surgery to repair a hiatal hernia. He was survived by his ex-wife, five stepchildren and ten step-grandchildren.
The Champion
Carman Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
Where silence ruled the outer space,
Ominously, towering it stood,
The symbol of a spirit war
Between the one name Lucifer,
And the Morning Star, The ultimate of good.
Enveloped by a trillion planets,
A cosmic coliseum would host the end
Of the war between the lord of sin and death,
And the Omnipotent Creator of man's first breath,
Who will decide who forever will be the Champion.
The audience for the 'Fight of the Ages' was assembled and in place.
The angels came in splendor from a star.
The saints that had gone before were there: Jeremiah, Enoch, Job.
They were singing the
victory song of the ages.
The above lyrics are from the song "The Champion" by Carman. It describes a cosmic battle between Lucifer, the lord of sin and death, and the Morning Star, the ultimate of good. The setting is a vast expanse of a timeless place where silence rules the outer space. The symbol of this spiritual war between good and evil is a towering entity. The song describes the cosmic coliseum where the war between Lucifer and the Omnipotent Creator is taking place. The Creator will decide who will be the champion, forever.
The audience for the "Fight of the Ages" was assembled and in place. The angels came in splendor from a star. The saints who had gone before were also there, including Jeremiah, Enoch, and Job, singing the victory song of the ages. This song is a celebration of the ultimate battle between good and evil, and the triumph of the ultimate good.

Dane Welkersen I'm sorry, but that is B.s..
When one goes outside the scriptures for info, the source is always questionable and cannot be firmly stood upon (like scripture)
If you happen to have some bible verses to back up your theory, share them. Otherwise I'm not interested.
-not trying to be rude, just very direct.
There are a thousand views on Christianity and all of them are not true.
Stick to the scriptures

Dane Welkersen are you saying skin color is due to some evil curse or something. If so, that is pretty messed up. No one of any skin color is lesser. Period.
