After a couple line-up changes the band improved a lot and recorded 3 songs for a 3-way split called "Grotesque First Action" with Prejudice (Bel) and Infant Bile (UK) which was released in the end of 2005 through Grotesque Productions (Spain).
Now, Carnal Decay is coming with their first album "Carnal Pleasures" on Fastbeast Distribution. This 10-track album comes with a brutal sound, guttural vocals and groovy but blasting drums as well. Carnal Decay plays a style related to bands like Gorgasm, old-Dying Fetus or Deeds Of Flesh.
Coward
Carnal Decay Lyrics

Wanted to conquer your freedom
Now abandon your cowardice
And fuck up your sanctity
Reluctant to valor flail your failure
Tear of your bond the chains of oppression
Just live free you wanted it to be
Terrified you're watching your approach to death
Justified is the punishment you'll receive before your last breath
You're one with the vile flock
I'm pissing on you
Now abandon all your hope for your sanctification
You will never be holy
Death will find you anyway
You will never see your god
Don't throw your life away
Don't follow this fucking flock
Of fucked up cowards
Believing in a book of lies will never make you holy
You will never find what you search when you look out for sanctity
The lyrics to Carnal Decay's song "Coward" condemns blind faith in a book of lies that promises sanctity and holiness. The song is a critique of those who seek recognition and freedom in the wrong places, never realizing that true freedom comes from asserting oneself against oppression, tearing off the chains that bind, and facing the truth about oneself. The singer in this song, a voice of truth, urges the listener to abandon their cowardice and embrace the terrifying freedom that comes from living with no illusions. The singer does not mince words here and clearly states that death will find you anyway, so why throw your life away following a flock of cowardly believers?
Carnal Decay's "Coward" is a powerful song with a clear message. It is a critique of religious dogma, oppressive social structures, and blind faith. The singer in the song urges the listener to be brave, to take control of their life, and to rebel against the forces that hold them back. This message is delivered with visceral intensity, and it is clear that the band means every word, making the song stand out as a classic of death metal.
