LEIKKO features the catchy rhythms and clever pop hooks of previous album DEW POINT, but possesses hints of stadium greatness with its poppy echoing drumbeats, dreamy synth sounds and Robert Johansson’s guitar which provide a distinctive backdrop of desert surf psychedelia.
After a one year long tour in Europe and USA 2010/2011, the Swedes emigrated to Barcelona to record their new album, LEIKKO. Recorded over a year in ten different locations it was finally sent to Cristoffer Roth at Dubious Studios (The Concretes, Moneybrother) for mixing.
The songs featured on the album describes the locations and the people that the band met during their DIY-tours after the release of their debut album: from copper thieves of New York to the poets of New Orleans, from bonfires in Louisiana to houseboats in Hamburg.
One of the album’s unique features is the fact that there are not one but two lead vocalists, with an effective contrast of Haggren’s reverberating falsetto tones with Adolfsson’s lower-pitched whispering sound.

Can't you see I'm better?
I don't need your tongue
The kiss you gave
Bound for something higher
Bring it back your way
Please rest your mind
And got over this
Take take take the lie
Take it to the liar
Bring it back my way
The lids, the eyes
Vibrate like feathers
From my heavy breath
I float on trains again
The belly of my dance
The old cheating rails
I'm proud of what you left in me
But all the bets are off for us
Scarlet streams and washed up blues
I don't care what you do
The current will take us too
I'm proud of what you left in me
But all the bets are off for us
Scarlet streams and washed up blues
Now walk away
Can't you see I'm better?
I don't need your tongue
And the kiss you gave
Bound for something higher
Bring it back your way
The song "Igloo" by Case Conrad presents a narrative of a person leaving their past behind and moving forward. The lyrics showcase a sense of independence and self-reliance. The line "Now walk away, can't you see I'm better" establishes the confident and defiant tone of the song. The singer has moved beyond the toxicity of a past romantic relationship, as they sing "I don't need your tongue / The kiss you gave / Bound for something higher / Bring it back your way." The use of the word "bound" suggests a sense of commitment to something greater, perhaps a personal ambition or spiritual enlightenment.
The song also has a dream-like quality, evident in the lines "The lids, the eyes / Vibrate like feathers / From my heavy breath / I float on trains again." The imagery of vibrating lids and feathers creates an ethereal atmosphere. The singer seems to be in a trance-like state, "floating on trains," and surrendering themselves to the journey towards self-discovery.
In conclusion, "Igloo" is a song about breaking free from past traumas and embracing a sense of self-reliance and independence. The dreamy quality of the lyrics and the confident tone of the singer make it a captivating and memorable piece of music.

Now walk away
Leave me alone and go your own way
Can't you see I'm better?
I've moved on and I don't need you in my life
I don't need your tongue
I don't need your words or opinions
The kiss you gave
The sign of affection you showed me
Bound for something higher
I have bigger plans and aspirations
Bring it back your way
Take your gestures of love and kindness elsewhere
Please rest your mind
Stop thinking about me
I fell into a slumber
I let go of the past and moved on
And got over this
I've healed from the pain you caused me
Take take take the lie
Take back the false promises you made
Take it to the liar
Go back to the person who deceived you
Bring it back my way
I don't want to hear any more lies or false promises
The lids, the eyes
My eyes are heavy and tired
Vibrate like feathers
My eyelids flutter like feathers
From my heavy breath
I'm breathing deeply and feeling a sense of relief
I float on trains again
I'm moving forward and taking control of my life again
The belly of my dance
I'm following my own rhythm and doing what I love
The old cheating rails
The path I used to follow that led me astray
I'm proud of what you left in me
I've grown and learned from our past relationship
But all the bets are off for us
We don't have a future together
Scarlet streams and washed up blues
The memories of our past relationship are painful and sad
I don't care what you do
I'm moving on and letting go of any attachment or concern
The current will take us too
Life goes on and we'll both move forward separately
