Cass & Slide would probably struggle themselves to ever better this track. The stars aligned and god knows what they were taking but it must have been pretty good. This track blew everything away like it was a cheap set in a film. It still sounds miles better than most of the new progressive house and trance coming out today. Sasha was cheeky to twist the meaning of "Underground" for GU 013 so he made a greatest hits of all his Ibiza, New York, UK and Hong Kong favourites. Just as well he fucking did because 17 years later we're all glad these tracks feature so prominently. You listen to some of the GU's and they're a lot of repetitive stuff. When you listen to Perception and read the credits in the 013 booklet you agree with the writer: you don't need to see the jets on the landing flight path from the Space Terrace, these guys are flying their own jets in the sets. Truly hard to emulate any of this, it takes people who are super creative, talented, perfectionists, excessive, living in the studio and lacking in sleep. You don't arrive to this by dreaming of being famous and making money. This is when you have EDM in your veins from when you were 8 years old ;-)

i remember playing with Cass in Brisbane around 00/01, he dropped this and the club went crazy. I asked him what it was, it was his own white label and after he played it he gave it to me. Dropped it at a Gatecrasher Oz gig infront of about 3000 people & the roof lifted! so many good memories with this tune, cheers Cass.
