IMAGINATION
Cassian feat. Tora Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Bleed on what we feed on
All impedin' what we see
We are, all a teacher
And a feature of our own imagination
We so obviously complicate everything unnecessarily
And yes it all began on the occurrence of overpopulation indeed
Keep it down, keep it there
Keep it down
Keep it down, keep it there
Keep it down,
Praying, off the pathways
Overgrowin' our own maze
Lost in, information
Where's the people? In their own imagination
We so obviously complicate everything unnecessarily
And yes it all began on the occurrence of overpopulation indeed
Keep it down, keep it there
Keep it down
Keep it down, keep it there
Keep it down, imagination

Imagination
Imagination
Imagination
Imagination

We so obviously complicate everything unnecessarily
And yes it all began on the occurrence of overpopulation indeed

Keep it down, keep it there
Keep it down
Keep it down, keep it there
Keep it down, imagination

We so obviously...
Imagination
And yes it all...
Imagination
Keep it down
Imagination

Keep it down
Imagination

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Cassian feat. Tora's song "Imagination" talk about the negative effects of human overpopulation on the world and how we tend to complicate things unnecessarily. The opening lines suggest that we tend to suffer due to what we consume, as it contributes to blocking our vision or impeding what we see. The song goes on to highlight that we are all teachers and a feature of our own imagination, indicating that we have the power to make our own reality.

The lyrics emphasize the fact that we tend to complicate everything while we have the power to imagine and create our own reality. The lines "lost in, information, where's the people? In their own imagination" suggest that instead of being creative and using our own imagination, we tend to get lost in the vast amount of information available to us. The song then concludes with the repetition of the phrase "keep it down, keep it there, keep it down, imagination," emphasizing the idea that we have to keep our imagination alive and not let it be impacted negatively by unnecessary complications.

@daisiesdaisy

Here because of my favorite band, Tora, and now I'm a hard Cassian fan.
I find myself thinking the same thing when I listen to this...and it's a strange sense of urgency? What's urgent? I don't know. Maybe just the urgency to repeat it this all day. SO GOOD
