Rock Your Bones

So sorry girl but your man is with me
She called and asked baby where is he?
So sorry girl but your man is with me
I rocked his bones
He rocked my bones
He was alone
Oh if you didn't complain
There'd be nothing to ignore
Maybe if you weren't a pain
Just the wife and I'm his whore
I rocked his bones
He rocked my bones
I was alone
So he rocked me
Maybe if I wasn't a tease
You'd still have a man
But he was so willing to please
The man with the magic hands
I rocked his bones
He rocked my bones
He was alone
So I rocked him
She called and asked honey where could he be?
So sorry girl but your man is with me
She called and asked honey where is he?
So sorry girl but your man is with me
I rocked his bones
He rocked my bones
I was alone
So I rocked him.
The lyrics of Cassie Steele's Rock Your Bones tells a story of a woman who had an affair with another woman's man. The song starts with the woman receiving a call from the man's girlfriend, asking where he could be. The woman replied that the man is with her. Throughout the song, the woman justifies her actions, saying that she only did what she did because the man was alone and willing to be with her. She also suggests that the man's girlfriend may be a pain and that if she wasn't a tease, the man wouldn't have looked elsewhere. The chorus of the song repeats the line "I rocked his bones, he rocked my bones," indicating the physical intimacy between the two.
The song speaks of infidelity, deception, and the moral complexities involved in romantic relationships. The woman in the song appears to be aware of her actions and tries to justify them. She talks about the man's willingness to be with her but doesn't acknowledge her role in the situation. The chorus is a repetition of the woman's feeling of satisfaction and pleasure with the physical act of rocking each other's bones.
