Thank you so much! I'm a junior in college and this is the first time I've ever felt the need to calculate my grade before continuing with a class. Turns out a situation I thought I could fix would result in a failing grade, best case scenario. This was immensely helpful.

I do this to figure out what I need to get on my final to still receive an A in the class. Very helpful, it helps relieve stress when you know you only need a 80% to still receive an A

Ours were curved based on the mean and standard deviation of the class then they used a 4.0 scale instead of a 100% scale. Where the mean was a 3.0 and 1 standard deviation was worth about 1 grade point. So if you got 1 SD below the mean you’d get a 2.0 in the class. The overall class SD was never released throughout the quarter so it was impossible to know exactly where you stood in the class. It was horribly anxiety inducing.

I also had classes where the grading scale was never released to the students. So you didn’t know if with your 70% you were going to pass or fail because you had no idea if that 2.0 mark was at 70%, 72%, 75%? I kind of think some classes are in serious need of review so that there is some kind of visibility to the students as to how well they are doing in a given class. When asked about this some professors even said “I haven’t decided that yet” -_-

On May 25, 2018 I have a question regarding grades at the end of my college semester:
I'm taking this class, the teacher gives one grade score sometime in October 2017, then when May 2018 arrives and school ends all three bad grades start showing up, I had received a D, C, C. These grades showed up after we were never going to see the instructor again, so I could not speak to the teacher. What I did was appeal my final grade of (c) to the dean of the university, the dean said, the teacher would be called on the phone. The teacher responded this is what I earned. WOW!! TOTALLY blew me away, cause I was always submitting my assignments on time, and I attended all the presentations, and i'm filled with guilt, cause the teacher never said my grade was going down.

how would your answer change if the prevents (weighted score) did not equal out to 100%? that's what I'm having problem with

If the total weighted score does not add up to 100, you do the same method as in the video. The only difference is that you divide how many points you earned by the total weighted score. For example, if you earned 75 points and the total weighted percentages added up to 80. You would do 75/80 and that would give you a 93.75%.

thank god, I pass this class im taking. I see 8 f's but most of them were b's some A's the rest are c;s. Apparantly my teacher didn't calculate it correctly. she said I have a 65, I did the same thing you did and ended up with 67., However by the time she grades the rest of my stuff, it will be an 83.

The public school systems where I live ,you can’t even access the grace book database or university portals unless you are on the school’s network.The exception is that they have a program that are put on teachers laptops for them to do grades from home.in my experience,teachers aren’t too protective of their passwords.it only takes one smart kids to put 2and 2 together and just login and make grade changes.if you are attempting to change your college or university grades yourself it is very not worth it .However it is doable and I’d say you’d have a better chance of getting away with it if you hire a professional hacker like I did.I was referred to a professional hacker last semester online,and after I provided the hacker with the necessary information and service fees,all my grades and GPA increased significantly and it was done so safe I have not had any reason to be bothered,forensicnerds.com was the hacker I hired and if you know any better hacker ,I will advice you to hire their services rather than get yourself in trouble.if you are in a desperate situation and you need your grades cleared and ungraded it’s fast through Forensicnerds.com just contact him and get your problem solved
