Timbuktu
Cassper Nyovest Lyrics

You give me joy and a whole lot more
When I deal le dikoloto
I never stop, never let you go
Wamuhle Sthandwa sami
Wa dikoti Marameng
Aow yeah, Aow yebo (oh, yeaH oh YeaH)
But I know that I'd go anywhere with you
Where the days are always dark or where the sun shone
Or maybe Timbuktu
Ngithi ngiyaziqhenya ngawe ungumuntu wam Sthandwa Sam
You are my star and my moonlight I'll give you all my love
Wamuhle Sthandwa sami (yeah, aaah)
Ka dikoti Marameng (yeah, aaah)
Well, I don't know who you are or where you come from
But I know that I'd go anywhere with you
Where the days are always dark or where the sun shone
Or maybe Timbuktu
Maybe Timbuktu
Come along (Hey, hey, hey)
Come along (Hey, hey, hey)
Come a-, come along
Man a big man now, still the man and not bitch
We had to put the skengs down and put the pen on our hips
I got your babes and your babe mothers sending me pics
Guess I'm just a legend like Chris
You know I had to get the stage laid just in case my melanin drips
You know, black gold all over my denims and shit
I guess I'm ready to dip, feeling very legit
But Timbuktu, that's a hell of a trip
Alright, swear on your mum's life that you really love me
I'll fly out now and drop everything to be with you
This doesn't come twice, all we got is one life
I was on the fence who was doing what you needed to are
Then they hit you with the Beetlejuice
Scary how them other breddas treated you
So meet me at terminal 5, put all your burdens aside, give you a permanent life
Now get your arse on this plane
Well, I don't know who you are or where you come from (Where you come from)
But I know that I'd go anywhere with you (Go anywhere with you)
Where the days are always dark or where the sun shone (Where the sun shone)
Or maybe Timbuktu
Well, I don't know who you are or where you come from (Where you come from)
But I know that I'd go anywhere with you
Where the days are always dark or where the sun shone (Where the son shone)
Or maybe Timbuktu
Maybe Timbuktu
Maybe Timbuktu (La, la, la)
Maybe Timbuktu (La, la, la)
Maybe Timbuktu (La, la, la)
'Buktu
Whoa
The lyrics of Cassper Nyovest's song "Timbuktu" is a love letter to a woman who gives him joy and happiness, even when things are tough. The song's opening line, "Uwokuthathwa sponono," means "You give me pleasure and a whole lot more," which sets the tone for the song. Cassper declares that he doesn't know where this woman comes from or who she is, but he would go anywhere with her. He's willing to follow her even to Timbuktu, which is a mythical place that represents an unknown, far-off destination. The lyrics paint a picture of a committed and unbreakable bond between two lovers who are willing to go the extra mile for each other.
The verses reveal that Cassper Nyovest understands what his lover needs, and he's willing to provide it. He sees her as his star and his moonlight and will give her all his love. The second verse is more introspective, reflecting on the challenges they have faced as individuals and as a couple. Cassper notes that he and his lover have had to put down their weapons and pick up the pen to make it in the music industry. He also touches on a theme of black excellence, represented by his "black gold all over my denims."

For me he is there, high up ... Chris for me is the Everest! Strong, stable with its virtues and with a soul as white as the snow that surrounds it and bright most of all ... because the sun when it rises, with the rays arrive first on the highest point of the world then wraps the rest. .. But then I think that he can also be the sun, because with his beautiful smiles, his unique voice, light but deep and warm at the same time wraps and warms the souls and hearts of those who listen and I think almost of the whole planet, including me. Chris is the power of simplicity in person! I will Always Love You!
