(1): Cast was formed in 1993 by John Power, the former bassist of The La's. They released four albums between 1995 and 2001. Cast were at the height of their popularity during the mid-90's Britpop movements. Whilst popular, they were seen as one of the "lesser" bands of the moment, often overshadowed by the likes of more popular bands such as Blur, Oasis and Pulp. It has been suggested that the name "Cast" was taken from the final line of the final song on The La's eponymous (and only) album. The song "Looking Glass" ends with the line ""The stone is cast, the glass is smashed".
After the commercial failure of their final studio album Beetroot in 2001, Cast split in 2002. John Power would subsequently release a solo album. In 2005 it was announced The La's were reforming with John Power included, this would seem to preclude any comeback for Cast for the foreseeable future.
A 2004 greatest hits album - The Collection - also failed to chart. It was criticised as it failed to feature the hit singles "Alright" and "Walkaway" from their most popular release All Change and was comprised largely of album tracks.
Since 2002 Peter Wilkinson has recorded and toured with a number of artists including Ian McCulloch and McCulloch's reformed band, Echo & The Bunnymen. Wilkinson left Echo and the Bunnymen in mid 2005 and has now rejoined the Liverpool band Shack who are currently signed to Sour Mash , Noel Gallagher's record label. Shack are due to release their new album On the Corner of Miles and Gil in March 2006.
(2): CAST was founded in 1978 in Mexico. Like so many other progressive rock groups they have evolved through the years and the music and influences have been changing between each album. Generally you can say that they are playing melodic progressive rock with many long instrumental passages combined with influences from baroque, bossanova, classical music, Heavy Metal, Jazz and Tango. The lyrics are mostly based on fantasy themes.
They have a very keyboard oriented British Neo-progressive sound and although they are from Mexico there are no distracting accents. You can hear influences from many different progressive rock bands such as CAMEL, EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, DREAM THEATER, mid-period GENESIS (their main influence), JETHRO TULL, LED ZEPPELIN, MARILLION, PENDRAGON, PINK FLOYD, RUSH, SAVATAGE, UK and YES. All of the CD's are passing 60 minutes, with an average track length about 8 minutes long.
CAST is definitely one of the best neo-progressive bands together with MARILLION and PENDRAGON. It's very strange that they haven't gained more recognition in the neo-progressive genre. CAST is also said to be a very good live act.

The joint project of Denis Kaznacheev and Chizh, a well-known Moscow DJ, was published by Sender records, Germany, and received most favorable reviews from the critics.

He served 1yr in jail. Then broke his probation by shooting a film in Europe. (The court ordered that he never be a director, associate director or place in charge supervisory or otherwise of any group of people due to his reckless and flagrant disregard for the safety of others)
The judge at the hearing about his breech of probation found him not guilty…
At first he blamed the rail company claiming they hadn’t told him the line was in use, then that only two trains used it both in the early morning; then he claimed the driver was “speeding” next that the bridge was in disrepair (then why film on it?)
To this day, he has not accepted full responsibility for the event that killed a young camerawoman and injured numerous others.
He didn’t even get the full sentence for putting “an object” on the train tracks that could cause issues for the train.
(Basically, he could put a piece of paper or a cigarette butt on the train line without issue. He put a metal bed across the tracks)
Somehow, Hollywood did very little to acknowledge the incident and death of the camerawoman. At the Oscars she wasn’t included in the “In memoriam” section. A brief image of her with a small posting of her date of birth and death with RIP was shown on screen before cutting to the commercial; meaning she was unmentioned at the Oscars, just a flash up image on the TV screen before the adverts.
In summary, how did this guy avoid a proper jail sentence?
How did the producers and production company avoid criminal charges?
And why did Hollywood/Oscars avoid noting her passing?
They show a director of photography on a few films who passed away at the age of ninety after sixty years not working in cinema but not a young girl killed doing her job because a Director was an arrogant incompetent with no regard for the safety of others. He wasn’t even trying to help get the gear out of the way of the train - despite only being a few meters from the bed used at the time.
He stayed clear yelling at crew to get the “expensive” camera equipment out of the way of the train…
It seems justice was not existent in this case and Hollywood just turned a blind eye.

3:21 as a farmer that stresses me tf out, cows may be herbivores but they are huge and can be extremely dangerous animals, and if there was a bull in that pasture he would be putting that kid at MAJOR risks, bulls often are triggered by loud noises and movement like RUNNING, so if there was a bull in the pasture and he saw the kid and got triggered, the kid wouldve most likely died
on top of that many farms have livestock gaurdian dogs that can be people aggressive
and alot of the times we allow hunters on our property as well, so it couldve also put the kid at risk for being mistaken as an animal and shot (tho not not as likely)
i have NEVER seen a cattle farmer in my life leave a child that age unsupervised around cattle, an adult is usually right behind them, as they should be

How is it the fault of the train company? The railway company denied the film company any permission to film there.

I'm not agreeing with the courts, just stating what they said. Courts said that the train was warned by other trains that people were filming there and could've slowed down but did not. Again, this is what the courts said, not my opinion.

Not CSXs fault. They testified that no one (director, producers) was granted permission to be on CSX property. Whether or not the movie even properly filed a request isn’t the issue... the fact that permission wasn’t granted by the property owner (csx) is.

@@nczioox1116 how do you know if this train slowed or not. Do the courts have documents on train speed ? a csx freight running from Jesup up to savannah takes a long ways to stop no matter if it decreased speed or not.
