She's driving me crazy, that's what I like
We use to go out every Saturdaynight
Me and my baby, we're feeling alright
To the movies and to the shore
We have a good time on the dancefloor
Rockin' and jivin' side by side
Singin'
Here we go
You got to rock and I got to roll
Here we go
Together we will have a ball
Singing
Here we go
I need some rock and you want some roll
Here we go
Together we can have it all
Having fun and looking for more
We don't like the pace so we sneak out the backdoor
Rockin' and jivin' side by side
Keepin' each other satisfied
Singin'
Here we go
You got to rock and I got to roll
Here we go
Together we will have a ball
Singing
Here we go
I need some rock and you want some roll
Here we go
Together we can have it all
And when it's over
Got to take you home, I'm alone
But next Saturday I'll be there again!
Here we go
You got to rock and I got to roll
Here we go
Together we will have a ball
Singing
Here we go
A little bit of rock, a little bit of roll
Here we go
Together we can have it all
Here we go
You got to rock and I got to roll
Here we go
Together we will have a ball
Singing
Here we go
In the first verse, the singer talks about his girlfriend who is driving him crazy, but he likes it that way. They used to go out every Saturday night to places like the movies or the shore, and they always have a good time dancing and singing together. The chorus is an invitation to rock and roll together and have a good time. The second verse continues with the theme of having fun and looking for more excitement, and they sneak out the backdoor when the pace is too slow for them. The chorus repeats twice more, with some slight variation, but the sentiment remains the same: they are looking to have a good time and to rock and roll with each other.
