Somehow
Caught a Ghost Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Sometimes Im so high
That I just float
I cant even think about
All the darkness ahead
Sometimes Im so low
And I dont know why
I just cant wait
My mind still waits you in
But my problem, just the same
As every man, woman and child
But every good thing must come to an end
Move on somehow
When my sadness settles in
I cant help thinking
That Im wasting my time
Buy my joy will come and rains right down
In the strangest hours, in the dead of the night
All of my anger, and my jealous woe dissipate
And my loving rejoice
And the new day, brings new ideas

But my problem, just the same
As every man, woman and child
But every good thing must come to an end
Move on somehow
Sometimes Im so high
That I just float
I cant even think about
All the darkness ahead
Sometimes Im so low
And I dont know why
I just cant wait
For the masquerade to end
I know that theres something waiting
On the other side, but for now
Every good thing must come to an end

Move on somehow
Every good thing has come to an end

This music, which was produced by people I barely spoke with in passing, is entrenched in depth of mind & soul.  Pain, combined with the knowledge of putting ink to melody, is a humbling experience. Time passes by so carelessly, that catching any moment is something to behold with awe and wonder. I can only hope that the depth within these musicians will be obtained without drowning in obscurity of the mainstream, or watch them float away on the current. Somehow is the anthem I needed to hear years ago.
