Drawing upon an extremely wide range of musical influences, from modern metal bands such as Converge to classics like Billy Joel, it is almost unbelievable that Cavalier, this Tacoma, Washington based 6-piece band, ended up sounding more along the lines of Third Eye Blind and Ben Folds. "The bands we had all been in previously sounded exactly like what everyone else was putting out...we just had to look back at what made the bands we loved growing up so great and start from there," explains front-man Stephen Lloyd.

When we first started [Cavalier], we wanted to establish a style of music that was open to a lot of creativity and change as the band progresses and grows," states drummer and co-songwriter Sam Franklin.

This spring, Cavalier has done just that.

With their 2006-quasi-self-produced-debut-EP-release (in-hale) "Your Honest Answer", they achieve an impeccable new heartfelt and driven sound that still manages to retain that integrity and odd sense of familiarity that touches you and seems to stick. "We pretty much wrote and recorded this EP between the hours of 1-4 AM for a couple weeks straight last winter in a Shurgard Storage unit," recalls Lloyd. Mastering of the record was done by Troy Glessener (Underoath, Acceptance, Pedro The Lion) at Spectre Studios and then sent off to be pressed along with their artwork designed completely by the band itself.

With ages ranging from 18-22 the members have all been playing music at school or in bands since their early teens yet have only been playing shows together as Cavalier since summer of 2005. They all share the same goal of not only making this band a career, but more importantly to them making a sound that pushes the pop envelope along with the broad boundaries of indie rock."

Within a year of their first solidifying gig they had headlined at the infamous Troubadour club, and performed at some of London’s most prestigious venues - O2 Academy Islington, Scala, Proud Galleries and The Bedford to name a few. Cavalier released their second EP in September ’09 and have since gone on to grant worldwide licenses to some of the UK and USA’s premier media companies. The band have a number of key partners, including Distract TV, who are working on a number of exciting ventures with the band.

Cavalier songs have been played throughout the UK and USA online and on local and national radio stations. BBC introducing having spotted the band invited them for a live session which was broadcast in February 2009, and regularly feature new tracks from the band. They have been invited back for another session in January 2010.

From the outset, Cavalier set out to write passionate, inspirational and evocative songs, that will connect with as many people as possible around the world. At the very heart of Cavalier there are five musicians who strive for nothing more than to write and perform for many years to come and have songs which emotionally affects people in a truly unique way. TIP: You can get an alternative called the "Acrobat Right/Left Leg Armor" , it can reduces falling damage by 50%. I got two of those and now immune to fall damage .I hope you're lucky enough to find one or even both in order for you not to do this hard process.

I am sure you are aware of the "trash can" wall climb glitch. What a lot of people don't know is that you can use a large cooking pot or stew pot (a paint can or steel bucket will also work, but it is much more difficult). The good thing about using either of them is that you can carry them in your inventory and use them all over the world.

Hey just wanted to let you know that you don't have to wait for the elevator to open up. To the right of it there is that, I guess, an elevator shaft and that bar that's around it. You just need to jump on that and then jump boost to the next level. That's it and you're back on track. Just thought you might want to make an update for everyone.

Maybe the perk to reduce AP usage from sprinting by 50% works on the jetpack too? That would make it kind of easier :) Also I'm pretty sure there would be some way to do this without glitching yourself into a corner to get it, maybe using the pipes or other stuff to stand on.

This was so incredibly difficult. I could not stick to the wall. In the end I went back to the bin glitch that hadn't been working either and sailed up the wall first time, straight to the freefall legs. I could understand this secret if there were tiny ledges to land on, but there isn't anything at all. It seems like a hollow victory to have to glitch your way into a secret in a game, and even jamming yourself into the corner whilst using the jet pack is still glitching/using a bug.

You do not need the elevator to be open! There is a cylinder shaped tunnel going upward. You can jump from a railing to a beam on the cylinder and then jump up to the next floor. (In the room where the elevator is closed)

I found left and a right legendary acrobat legs which also completely reduce fall damage, I got them from killing normal legendary enemies.

You can use the trash can from the lobby to propel yourself up the wall into the room. Push your character to the wall hold the trash can, look down, and start walking back towards the wall and you should be able to slide up the wall pretty quickly.

To all who didn't know this. On the first floor Use the key card to start the Elevator up and jetpack on top of it. you can literally jump from the last chance on the top of it. you will see what i mean when you do, Horizontal bars. Anyway Run jump use the tap the jetpack methods he is talking about and favorite the Nuka-Cola Quantum you can reach it without even doing that corner bs. or if you can't master the tapping of triangle while using the d pad. You will reach right at the start of the corner ledge anyway to get in. that is if you suck at Fallout. :P

You can also do this with wall-gliding. Use a trash can and put i under you while you jump and you can wall glide up there, it's a bit difficult and if you screw up you can die but it doesn't require a power suit or upgrade

When going for height with the jetpack, DO NOT HOLD JUMP. Spamming the jump key about 2 times a second gets you more height with less ap.

Got it. You don't have to wedge yourself in the corner. On the first jump you do have to wedge yourself in the corner once. Jump again from that corner and you'll be just short of the door. Use a Nuka Cola Quantum or jet fuel and you'll have enough AP to get up there. On the second jump you don't need the wedge yourself in the corner at all you can make it with just the jetpack. Tip: don't use jet, you use more AP for the distance you get if you are in slow-mo.

If you want to make this 100 percent more easier use the pipboy app. on the final stretch where you have to boost up the wall use jet and with the pipboy app keep using the Nuka Cola Quantom which will basically let you boost as long as youbkeep activating. Tell me if it helps you as well 😃

If you guys check the intern terminal, it's about this intern name jack who want to make a boot that can absorb impact because elevator keeps on breaking. The reason it's hard to reach probably is because climbing a wall with a trash can defy physics the same as what the other interns are telling him that it's impossible in theory.

tip: if u didnt complete the story and the elevator is locked jump trough the main elevator shaft. there a metal thing from where u can jump up on the floor where the elevator ends (its only one floor above u)

I got "Acrobat" left and right leather armor legs on my original PS4 build and tested the setup by jumping off the Prydwen and surviving. I don't know how long I had them in my Legendaries stash but only thought to try them out together after seeing this vid. That's a level 90+ build but my 2nd one, level 40 started fresh in new Survival mode has had far fewer Legendary encounters and found no Acrobat leggings yet.

there's a set of leather legs that are ledgendary (meaning you can just find them randomly) described with the word acrobat, they negate all fall damage when together.

i prefer the captain cosmos suit. it can be modified with weave and you can jump from space litteraly and zero damage. you can also jump much higher and you can wear an armored battered fedora and you have very good overall damage resistance.

Thanks for this as I love jumping off stuff but prefer not to use power armour unless I absolutely have to (Glowing Sea, for example).

I managed it in under 10 attempts without Jet so they're easily attainable if you play this game too much like I do...

P.S. If you have enough action points (I had flames armour and full ag) then the final jump can be done in one burst without the need to wedge in the wall.

Get the armor one minute! With your jet pack, get above the glass ceiling, grab a trash can and back up to the wall across from where the armor room will be, climb straight up to the top and jump using jet pack and fly right into the room. Got it on the second try in less than a couple minutes!

leg armor with the prefix acrobat will do the same thing if you get a right and a left. Each acrobat reduces falling damage by 50%, so simple math 2 acrobats reduce 100% falling damage. I've had it on 2 different builds now

I have better armor but carry this just in case. Whenever I find myself falling from a great distance, I open up the pipboy, and equip the freefall armor. Thankfully the kind physics of Fallout allow me all the time in the world with the pop-boy open to change even while at terminal velocity .

I dropped a armor piece with this modifier on survival difficulty so you dont need to go up there if you're lucky enough (survival only makes more legendarys spawn so you can get it on easier difficulties too)

Took about 20 first jump, only 1 on the second jump. Bask in my greatness. I didn't have the elevator unlocked. If you are struggling, use this tip: USE YOUR BEST FORM OF JET FOR THE FIRST JUMP. Also, the second jump can be reached without hanging on the wall.

Or you pick up a trash can, lay your back against the elevator, hold back on the analog stick (Xbox). You'll go up the shaft until you see a floor midway. Make sure you're still carrying that trash can go to the wall beside where the elevator is located to get to that room.

Here's a tip: You don't actually have to wedge yourself anywhere and that wasn't the intention of the developers for you to use wall glitches and such. You don't need any kinds of buffs to do this either, just your power armor with a jet pack mod on the torso. The trick is to time the boosts. You don't want to jump with Y and then hold the Y button down to get maximum height. Instead you have to "pump" the Y button in short-mid bursts after the first jump. If done correctly you actually have about 20 AP left when your bottom feet touch the openings... meaning they give you like 1 boost margin of error to make the jump.

Good find but the strategy was kind of disappointing as it's not the intended strategy... it actually makes it harder to do the way you've explained it in this video. As a hardcore gamer I'm not surprised people couldn't figure this out... It's too technical for this series... There were never any real platforming elements in Fallout games prior to this so I guess I can excuse the lack of thought that went in to this strategy.

A revised video is order using the pump method so as to not frustrate future viewers. You can gain about 3 times the "height cap" if using the pump method. Try it out just standing still using a land mark, you'll notice a huge difference between just holding down the Y button and pumping it to gain height.

very helpful but the part where you wedge yourself at 2:47 if you look on the bottom right corner of that open wall panel there is a little pipe sticking out and I found it was much more consistent landing on that than the corner

This is MUCH easier to do if you use ultra jet drug and jet fuel drug, both drastically boost AP and AP regen.

Second jump you don't need to hug the wall just get a running start. Worked with a tonne of ap left. :)

You dont need to use the late game elevator, the the white circle shaped one, swipe your card then jetpack onto the top of the elevator, then wait till u get past the floor and jump off.

This might be consdiered best or rarest. But you can get equally good armour pieces through the legendary loot system.
Before I even got high enough level to get jet-pack, I already had 3 pieces of Acrobatic gear, which reduces fall damage by 50%. If you add two of them you become immune to all fall damage. Tested this earlier, so the benefits you get from the FreeFall armour legs you can get way before the Jetpack. If you are lucky enough on the drops.

The Freefall legs are simply guaranteed pieces that as far I understand require you to use both, else they have no function beyond the armour rating

You can take a trash can (look around) And push it up against the jump and place it under you and lean on the wall.Save before this, as it is not the easy unless you know what you are doing.

Is this armor even necessary? I stumbled upon 2 random legendary Acrobat leg pieces that both give 50% fall damage prevention (one metal, one combat), and using both together seems to have the exact same effect. I've jumped into an excavation site and didn't take a scratch. Didn't even go into a crouch/stagger at the end, which actually makes mine better (although I was in first person mode, so maybe that doesn't happen with these in first person). I got both of those before I hit level 35, so going through all this work for these seems superfluous, aside from the potentially greater DR boost. I was planning on doing this quest as soon as I hit level 41 (minimum level to max both Armorer and Science to craft jetpacks), but now I don't know if it's even worth it.

I assume you only have to wear one of these legs, so it frees up one more legendary effect? Or no? Edit: sorry i know this is old af but i started playing again recently lol. Edit again: just got them, and you have to wear both leg pieces for it to work, so nevermind. Fuck these things.

1) I didn't "kill it", I just brought up that there's an alternative to these items, and asked the question if these are worth getting. I didn't shit all over this video or anything.
2) My response post says that I got the armor and confirms that there is a benefit to it over the other options I mentioned, so I essentially said "yes, this is worth it" with that response.

+LunaticMS Ok, I got the armor, and it has better DR than my acrobat legs, so I'm happy with it. I had to use the wastebasket glitch to climb the walls, though, because jetpacking to these things is fucking impossible.

Buffjet's good enough I used one for each jump, 2 total. Didn't need to recover for the second one just went straight in but thanks for the info. Remeber to just take two buffjet and save before the first jump.

Actually, the best thing in the game is the mighty assault rifle which once you upgrade to mighty powerful assault rifle, will kill a guy in power armor in 5secs. Beware it will make the game a bit boring as you can just power through any enemy within seconds

I literally got this on my second try. Do not do the glitching thing that he's doing, just tap the jetpack button rapidly and you can go so much higher, do not ever hold it.

if you are struggling with the jumping you can make it notably easier if you bring an item like nuka cola quantum it instantly refills ap so u use it half way up the final jump and it becomes quite easy to make it.

I did the acrobatics left leg and right leg way it's way harder to get than this but this way you only need to equip one free fall so it's better

You can wear two pieces of 50% fall damage reduction gear and get 0 fall damage as well

Thanks for the help! This honestly took me one try though. About 1 or 2 minutes. Didn't fall a single time. Jet before jump, nukacola in midair, and ou boost yourself into each room. No need to stick in wall.

Glitch up with a trash can found in a room located near the elevator shaft. There are videos that make getting the Freefall legs much easier.

I found that being friendly with the institute, you can teleport to the top of the building simply by fast traveling there. Which i suppose is easier.
