It's first 'official' mashup was let the voodoo use you (Jan 2007). He had created several unofficial ones that weren't released, including a mix for Rebuffer FM (Dec 2001). The name's taken from the London club night, Jez founded with school friends, in 2003. The club went from strength-to-strength, celebrating it's fifth year in 2008.
CMP has also released collaborations with Copycat, DJ Useo & Guv'nor.

Phil impressed the fuck out of me with this cover, Layne had a very rare unique voice and he did so well.

Phil had such an amazing voice in the 80s and early 90s. His range was incredible. I think he's done a ton of damage to it over the years, admittedly.
