Celio Gonzalez Lyrics

El haber desdeñado mi pasión
Y fingiendo una honda pena imaginaste
Que moriría de desesperación
Total
Si me hubieras querido
Ya me hubiera olvidado
Ya ves
Que fue tiempo perdido
El que tú has meditado para ahora decirme
Que no puede ser
Pensar
Que llegar a quererte
Es creer que la muerte
Se pudiera evitar
Total
Si no tengo tus besos
No me muero por eso
Yo ya estoy cansado
De tanto besar
Pensar
Que llegar a quererte
Es creer que la muerte
Se pudiera evitar
Total
Si no tengo tus besos
No me muero por eso
Ya yo estoy cansado
De tanto besar
Vivir sin conocerte
Puedo vivir sin ti
In the song Total, Celio Gonzalez sings about a past relationship where his partner now claims that they never loved him and humiliated him by rejecting his affection. However, Celio realizes that he has wasted time thinking about this person who never truly loved him. He believes that if this person had loved him, he could have forgotten about their love and moved on. Celio also highlights the irrationality of thinking that loving someone can prevent death. He ends the song by stating that he can live without this person, and he is tired of kissing someone who does not genuinely love him.
