Overall Meaning

The simple repetition of "I remember when I was younger" in Celldweller's song "Younger" actually speaks to a deeper nostalgia and longing for the innocence and carefree nature of youth. The repetition of the word "younger" at the end of each line speaks to the cyclical nature of life, as we are all growing older with each passing day. The emphasis on this word also reminds us that youth is fleeting and cannot be recaptured.

Furthermore, the use of nostalgia in the lyrics can also be interpreted as a way to cope with stress or anxiety that comes with adulthood. The memories of youth provide comfort and a sense of security in a world that can often feel chaotic and unpredictable. Ultimately, the lyrics of "Younger" convey a universal desire to go back in time and recapture the simplicity, joy, and freedom of youth.

I've been a fan of celldweller since his self titled album came out and I've got to say that I actually love this. Artists move on with trends and I think that if he was still producing the same sort of music everyone will be commenting saying how repetitive he is.

See, I'm really digging this, like I do most of the stuff he puts out. Its not just that he is doing the wubs, which I like on occasion, its the vibe of the song and the beat, its the way it repeats and grows into something more, especially with the vocals, that sets it up something greater. Not only do i think this is wonderful, I think this song has room to grow in a fairly big way. This ain't no shitty ground beef, this is the seasoning and supporting dishes for that steak coming our way.

People need to understand that musicians make music that they like to make, music that makes them happy. If they make music and they don't like it or if it doesn't make them happy, it's not going to be good. Musicians evolve over time, if they don't ever song will sound the same. I love everything Klay has made. We get older, our interests change, musicians must change too. True supports will find the connection between each album that keeps them similar, but also witness the growth. <3

Klayton makes the music that sounds cool and good to him. He doesn't make dubstep. He makes awesome. But seriously... he just makes the music he wants to make and that's why I love celldweller so much. You don't keep hearing the same thing over and over. It's as close to organic music as you can get.

I don't know what genre this song would be, either way it kicks ass!!! The one thing I like that Klayton does, is he doesn't try to make a song by one genre, he mixes almost everything together into his own cool thing
