The lyrics to Center's song Навсегда ("Forever" in English) celebrate the beauty and richness of Russian culture, highlighting its traditions, customs, and famous figures. The first stanza lists various cultural icons, such as Matryoshka (nesting dolls), Balalaika (a traditional Russian stringed instrument), Volga (Russia's largest river), and Samovar (a traditional Russian tea urn). The second stanza includes famous Russian poets and writers, like Pushkin and Evtushenko, scientists and inventors, like Kurchatov and Kalashnikov, and other notable personalities, like Petrowa and Shpuntikova. The chorus repeatedly emphasizes the theme of eternal Russian heritage, stating that everything is ours and will be forever (in Russian, "Navsegda").
The song's third stanza evokes nostalgic memories of grandparents and compares them with modern young people, emphasizing the importance of friendship. The fourth stanza lists more aspects of Russian culture, including traditional food like Borsch and Blini (pancakes), and famous names like Masha, Vanya, Lusya, and Stepa. The song then repeats the same verses and chorus, ending with the line "Everything is ours forever."
Overall, the song Навсегда celebrates Russian culture's richness and beauty, acknowledging its deep roots and heritage while looking towards the future. It speaks of the enduring values, traditions, and customs that have stood the test of time, reminding listeners that these things will always be a part of Russia's identity and culture.
