This song hits really hard. I saved my best friend's life in 2016, after he swallowed pills. I was on the phone with him for 20 minutes until the ambulance arrived. Well, if you actually try to read the message behind the video it's about paying it forward. It's the ultimate message. He was saved by someone so now he has to pay it forward by saving someone else. I have commented on this song before.
I used to think this was a cry out to God from a broken and desperate soul. However, since my wife of 31 years (Mary) passed away on 9/11/22, with me sitting by her ICU bed as I very helplessly watched her "life clock" countdown to 0:00, this song has taken on an additional meaning. Not only am I asking God if it's worth saving me, I'm asking Mary as well. I'm asking both of them to "teach me wrong from right", so I have the strength and ability to continue living. 🙏
