Game came out my 2nd year of college, I was 18. Started having panic attacks and when on my way to class I would play this and other songs from the sound track to help calm me down.

Now I’m 29, gotta take meds for my anxiety but this music still helps and the feeling of joy when the game dropped always give me bittersweet nostalgia.

Nostalgia of growing up with friends but also dealing with severe panic attacks. Overall this stuff helps more than it hurts.

It’s been 7 years since GTA 5 came out. I was 12 at that time living with my parents in my hometown Boston.

Since then I’ve graduated, got my first job, moved to Seattle, and have started going to college (despite hating the idea when I was 12). In a blink of an eye things changed so fast.

I’m 18 now and even though I don’t talk with my GTA friends now, the memories of joyriding around the airport and doing heists will always stay with me.

None of the characters have any real arc, Trevor and Michael are just either assholes or burnt out psychopaths with no real charm. Franklin is okay, but even then that's just in comparison to the other 2.


Trevor and Michael's beef with eachother is never really finished or squashed. It sorta just fizzles out and only gets a conclusion if you hang out with one of them.

Villains are boring and have no real presence. FRANKLIN HAS NO REASON TO KILL EITHER OF THEM in the endings and the only reason you'd pick A or B is to just see what happens. There's no weight or story connections as to why he'd personally want to do it

Writing is too on the nose and satirical.
