I've got to say, the Riders of Rohan music and sound is amazing! I used to play LOTRO a few years back, and when I heard of this expansion I came back. I just came off the game now and my god... Middle-Earth feels alive and magical again. God bless you Chance Thomas. You have brought back my love and joy for Tolkien's beautiful world, expect to see me slaying those orcs in Middle-Earth men. Simply amazing! I belive it will truely fill in the generic feeling around the lands of Rohan, becuase it has that violin stroke that gives it SUCH a magnificent feeling! I found this extremely good, can't wait to hear it in-game and see how you make it fit with the enviroment of Rohan. Best regards Marcus.

This brings back all the memories of my first warsteed tutorial. Just learning the difference between the old riding system and the new one. All I was doing was reading text and pressing buttons when told, but this soundtrack really made me feel as if I was doing something EPPPPIIIIIICCCC!!!! It really made the moment.

Chance, thank you so much for your effort and forethought into every piece you create for this bringing to life of Tolkien's world through online game play! I absolutely loved the mandolins snuck into the piece, I've always equated this instrument to the Elven folks and the Numenoreans, I really hope to hear it again when we're in Gondor some day, or perhaps with the Elven folk again! Keep up the good work.

Very well done, this music adds depths to the scenario of a rider in the plains of Rohan. Kinda reminds me of some parts of the soundtrack of Braveheart, especially "Gathering The Clans"

I'm praying they bring back the Hornburg music from War of the Ring, the same they did with the Dwarf and Men themes from there(Since it's the same composer). That stuff was 'Rohan' in a strong way.

Although i love this song i heard this song in snowbourne many times, but it sounded quite different including a violin fiddling added, it is the most awesome video game melody ever but i cant find it on youtube. =(. Oh well whenever i want to hear it you know what town ill be in =D

well this is lotro not azeroth so i'd guess it's bound to have quite a bit of dark and tense music in addition to the grandiose and light hearted pieces the music in the lone lands isn't exactly dark and tense it's rather desolate actually watch?v=Vn_L7oeatLw or gritty watch?v=rURxxr5X77g and i think both are spot on for that area did you ever listen to the lotr soundtracks? lots of dark and tense tracks there some are downright dissonant

west rohan wil be next first (edoras, helmsdeep, dunharrow) probebly added in updates next year in summer or so... but if they wil go to gondor for the 5th expansion, i do not know, but i hope so yes

i used word "most". I didnt say all are terrible. Some are good yeah. But imho very often music in lotro is way too tense and dark while it shouldnt be like that (for example in lone-lands). In my opninion human and hobbit starter areas have the best soundtrack in the whole game. Also trollshaws arent far in behind. But Moria on the other hand is terrible when it comes to music.

Sadly it's not just me who thinks of LOTRO that way.. Go on the forums and look at all the raiders and more experienced MMO players, they are making it even for everyone instead of giving the good players a little extra.. Which is just sad.

Then they need to hire more people. I am not gonna go into their ways of picking staff, but it used to be in a way where the raiders would be supreme (and also more people would raid for that reason), and the other people could suck it up... Now they don't do that anymore.

No good endgame raids for raiders, allowing EVERYONE (even the noobs) to get the best gear by questing.. It's not fair, the best gear should only be available for the good raiders, and now you can buy your way to endgame.. Just not cool...

Well not sure how to explain it, but I think Moria music is way too depressing and gets boring very fast. You know, monsters there arent significantly strong, When youa re geared up properly they are trash mobs anyways. And so the soundtrack doesnt fit the place for me very well. Its way too depressing while i think it should be more mysterious and such.

I have full MoM soundtrack. Its crap. Maybe except for Hollin Gate, but even that track aint amazing. See, I've heard alot better soundtracks. In Guild Wars for example.
