Bio: Chant is a trio born in 1999 from an idea of drummer Cristiano Calcanile.
Until 2007, Chant performed as an acoustic trio, releasing an album in 2003 for the Italian label "Caligola" that was enthusiastically received by critics for the strong interplay of the players and the original blend of compositional elements and free improvisation.
In 2007, during the recording of their second album, the trio felt a strong need to rethink their musical working method, and thus the decision of enrich their instrumental and compositional palette. That necessity brought the inclusion of electric and electronic (electric bass and synthesizers) and acoustic instruments (harpsichord, pipe organ, clavichord and harmonium) as well as the use of the recording studio "as an instrument" (a feature that is usually atypical in the improvised music field). This process consisted in one year dedicated to the pre-production of the new material, and a new, longer recording session during Summer 2008 in Finland.

This music is the result of our personal research between composition and improvisation, but with a strong intention of leaving the interplay and the simple joy of playing together intact.

Maybe I'm just having trouble hearing it? But there's another song that isn't on the OST that's this but with High Charity mixed in. It also plays on the gondola ride to the Library and Flood attack you and the other Elites.

Can you try to find the song that plays in Uprising, when you are fighting the brutes? I haven't played the mission in so long, but if you listen to the song "delta halo suite" from the Halo 2 vol 2 soundtrack, it starts around 2:45. The entire track lasts until 5:00, but this is actually 3 different tracks edited together. The track I'm looking for plays for about a minute before transitioning to the song that plays in the intro cinematic of Regret. (When you're listening to the hologram of regret) Then that song transitions into a variant of home field advantage with halo theme vocals. The first song plays during the mission Uprising, while I don't know if the third song is actually in the game. They were no doubt put into one track due to their similar instrumentation to create a nice flow. If you can, I would like you to find both of these unreleased anniversary tracks. There is also a variant of the first track which contains vocals from heavy price paid. This also plays during Uprising, and was not released in either Halo 2 original soundtrack or the Anniversary release. If you could find these three tracks, I would be very happy! Those tracks are why I love delta halo suite.. I love the drums! :D

Personally, I wish this particular section would've been swapped with a banshee section. I mean, think of it! Fighting flood controlled banshees, phantoms or even pelicans? A cutscene later in the game shows that the flood can fly one! ...sort of. This would perfectly finish the flood based vehicle level!
