In 1995 she teamed up with Aaliyah, En Vogue, BlackGirl, Mary J. Blige, Vanessa Williams, SWV, and others for the single "Freedom" from the movie Panther.
Savage took two years off before she returned in 1996 with "I Will Survive" from her second album I Will Survive (Doin' It My Way). The lead single became a moderate smash in the U.S., where it reached #5 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, and number 12 in the UK. The single was also certified Gold by the RIAA for US single sales of over 500,000 units. In 1997 she, along with Deborah Cox, Heavy D, and Brownstone performed Janet Jackson's #1 single "That's the Way Love Goes" at the Soul Train Music Awards tribute to the popular icon [2]. In 1998 Savage scored another minor hit with "Reminding Me (Of Sef)", performed by Common. It was a top 10 hit on Billboard's Hot Rap chart.
In 1999 she released her third album This Time, its first single "Come Around" which peaked at number 62. Savage wrote all the lyrics and played piano and drums.
Betcha'll Never Find
Chantay Savage Lyrics

Said I betcha'll never find another
I betcha'll never find another love like mine
Said I betcha'll never find another
I see it in your eyes
Don't play me for a fool
You know that I could always
You seem to think
You want to find somebody new
Maybe we should take some
Time to be apart
I'm not gonna cry
I won't ask you why
If you're gonna go
Do what you got to do
I hope you know
What you're leaving behind
Because I know that I'm a special kind
A love this good, you'll never find
[Chorus:]
I betcha'll never find another love like mine
Said I betcha'll never find another
(You'll never, never, never find)
I betcha'll never find another love like mine
Said I betcha'll never find another
So now you think
That I should get out on my own
That I should give somebody else a try
Don't make suggestions
Just leave well enough alone
If you're gonna go
Why don't you say goodbye
(No, no) I'm not gonna cry
I won't ask you why
If you're gonna go
Do what you got to do
I hope you know
What you're leaving behind
Because I know that I'm a special kind
A love this good, you'll never find
[Repeat chorus]
No, you'll, you'll never find another
No, you'll, you'll never find another
No, you'll, you'll never find another
No, you'll, you'll never find another
Baby, baby, baby, baby...
[Repeat chorus]
(You'll never find a love like mine)
You seem to think
You want to find somebody new
Maybe we should take some
Time to be apart
I'm not gonna cry
I won't ask you why
If you're gonna go
Do what you got to do
I hope you know
What you're leaving behind
Because I know that I'm a special kind
A love this good, you'll never find
[Repeat chorus]
So now you think
That I should get out on my own
That I should give somebody else a try
Don't make suggestions
Just leave well enough alone
If you're gonna go
Why don't you say goodbye
(No, no) I'm not gonna cry
I won't ask you why
If you're gonna go
Do what you got to do
I hope you know
What you're leaving behind
Because I know that I'm a special kind
A love this good, you'll never find
[Repeat chorus]
You can search the whole world over
I'm the special kind
I'm not gonna cry 'cause I know
A love this good, you'll never find
No, you'll, you'll never find another
No, you'll, you'll never find another
The lyrics of Chantay Savage's song "Betcha'll Never Find" explore themes of mistrust and heartbreak. The singer addresses a partner who they believe is considering leaving the relationship to find someone new. The chorus repeats the line "I betcha'll never find another love like mine," asserting the value and uniqueness of their love. However, the repeated verses of "I'm not gonna cry" convey a sense of resignation and acceptance that the partner might leave.
The lyrics have a somewhat defensive tone, suggesting that the singer feels vulnerable and is attempting to protect themselves from further heartbreak. The repetition of the chorus is almost like a mantra, offering a kind of reassurance that the love they shared was special and unlikely to be replaced.
The song's structure is simple, with a verse-chorus-verse-chorus format that repeats several times. The lack of a bridge or breakdown contributes to the sense of repetition and reliability in the song's message.
