He writes columns for the British newspaper The Guardian, which include Screen Burn (a satirical look at television). Based on the success of the column, Brooker was allowed to make a television version of the column for by BBC Four, Screenwipe. He also made Newswipe (a satirical look at the news), Gameswipe (a one-off special about computer games in the Screenwipe format) and You Have Been Watching (a satirical quiz about television for Channel 4). In 2010, Charlie Brooker moved to the world of radio with BBC Radio 4's So Wrong It's Right, which allegedly celebrates "Britain's favourite subject: failure". Brooker's columns are also available in book form.

@WTP2k I couldn't believe this, listening to it; I think I'm in love with this woman. Having lived in London for two and a bit years, "dawdlers" are right up there among the things I just plain hate about the city. I don't drive, but I do check my "blind spot" when I'm out and about, as much to avoid slow-witted pedestrians as speeding motorists. Why can't people look where the bloody hell they're going? We definitely do need slow/fast lanes on pavements; London especially.

The announcer at the end reading the closing credits reminds me of the guy who did the closing creds at the end of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. I wonder if they used the same guy...?

I 100% agree with Sarah. I hate people who walk slowly and stop in front of you. I also check over my shoulder and pull out and overtake or end up treating the whole pavement of people as some kind of perpetually moving and shifting slalom course.
