Led by Andres Cikato, these friends (Matias Cikato, Sergio Abreu, Carlos Palma and Valentina Olazabal) started working on the idea of having their first album. This album, entitled Just a chillout symphony for you was released in 2003, quickly gathering a small but faithful group of followers which led to a series of local live venues, and motivated the band to continue producing new material. Their second album, entitled Before I leave was released in 2006, with Patricia Eirin replacing Valentina on lead vocals.

The album was well received and the band continued playing, performing in dance clubs as well as theaters. Currently they are working on their third album and looking for further international expansion. The band has also added a new member, Pilar Etcheverry on guitars and backing vocals, who replaced Matias in 2007 while he left to study abroad.

Their musical style might be considered as eclectic, picking up influences from artists such as Imogen Heap, The Postal Service, Radiohead, Röyksopp and many others.

Charlie Loop has disbanded as of January 2010. According to their Facebook page (translated from Spanish):

First and foremost want to thank each of you for giving us the chance to show what we could do and give us the chance to record, play and share our music with you: we were privileged to this and we can not do more than a thousand times thanks decilrles !

Also to all those who in some way or another were part of the band from above the stage and from the sides, front and back ... impressive and met many people who are going to be friends forever.

7 years were incredible!
