More than the morning routine
When I open my eyes I can glimpse
Pieces of eternity
I can hear a whisper, like a secret
I can see a glimmer, and I know know that
(it, it's so close to me)
The reality of love, reality of love
(it, it's so close to me)
There is more than the story than this
More than the sorrow inside
Even when you're clenching your fists
There's more to the battles you fight
Oh can't you hear it calling
Like the moon at the night?
Even when you're falling don't you know that
All we are, all we do
In the mysterious
This is real, this is true
In the mysterious
Oh can't you hear it calling
Like the moon at the night?
Even when you're falling don't you know that
The reality of love, reality of love (repeat)

In Charmaine's song Love Reality, the lyrics explore the idea that there is more to life than just the mundane routines and daily struggles that we face. The first verse describes how there is something eternal and mystical that we can catch glimpses of, like a whisper or a glimmer. These glimpses hint at a deeper reality that is beyond our understanding but is still somehow intimately connected to the reality we experience.
The chorus emphasizes this idea of a deeper reality, that there is a truth and a beauty in love that is so close to us if we only take the time to see it. Even in our darkest moments, like when we are clenching our fists in frustration or when we are falling down, there is still a calling that we can hear if we listen closely.
The second verse expands on this idea, suggesting that there is more to our lives than just the battles we fight. Even in the midst of pain and sorrow, there is a mystery and a beauty that we can be a part of if we let ourselves be. The final repetition of the chorus reinforces this message, encouraging us to embrace the reality of love that is all around us.
