“I want people to feel like they can do anything, be anything, they don’t have to pretend to be something they’re not. I want them to step into their own power,” Charmaine says while speaking about the new single.
Revolutionary Thought
Charmaine Lyrics

Surely You're in... the thunder
I can't hear, You speaking
Is this Your voice that I'm hearing
Can You find me in the whisper?
Ooooohh
In a whisper
In a whisper
Teach me how to listen
When You're speaking in the silence
Open my senses in the chaos I'm lost in
Can I find You in the whisper?
Ooooohh
In a whisper
Ooooohh
In a whisper
What a revolutionary thought, that God,is all we hoped He'd be
Closer than the air we breath (repeat 3x)
Ooooohh
In a whisper
Ooooohh
In a whisper
The song "Revolutionary Thought" by Charmaine, is a powerful and emotional plea for divine guidance and connection. The lyrics reveal a deep longing to hear and understand God's voice in the chaos and uncertainty of life. The opening lines describe an awe-inspiring moment of being in the presence of God and experiencing the wonders of creation, including the sound of thunder. However, the singer admits to struggling to hear God's voice, wondering if the whispers they hear are truly from God. The song is a journey of discovery, as the singer asks to be taught how to listen to God, even in the midst of chaos and confusion.
The chorus of the song, which repeats the phrase "in a whisper," is a powerful metaphor for the way God often speaks to us. In the midst of the noise and distractions of life, it can be easy to miss the quiet voice of God speaking to us in a whisper. The ending of the song brings everything together with the lyrics "What a revolutionary thought, that God is all we hoped He'd be, closer than the air we breathe." This line reveals the depth of the singer's understanding of God, and the hope that comes from knowing that God is always close by, waiting to be heard and to guide us.
