I am the man with the heavy heart
And I dare not turn the pages
Riding with automatic self destruction
I Is a blind faith, a cruel waste
One bitter taste
So I know I need this sweet sensation
Sweet sensation
The music that we play
Will ease your mind
Will ease your mind
What is a man now to do with his mind
when it's working over time
The best I can do is now dance with the devil
I, keep my self safe
I won't waste this time and space
So I know I need this sweet sensation
Sweet sensation
The music that we play
Will ease your mind
Will ease your mind
I am the man with the heavy heart
I am the man with the heavy heart
Is a blind faith, a cruel waste, one bitter taste
So I know I need this sweet sensation
Sweet sensation
The music that we play
Will ease your mind
Will ease your mind
I am the man with the heavy heart
I am the man with the heavy heart
Is a blind faith, a cruel waste, one bitter taste
So I know I need this sweet sensation
The song "Blind Faith" by Chase & Status is a reflection on the idea of surrendering to the sensation of music and allowing it to ease one's mind from the weight of everyday life. The lyrics describe the singer as a man with a heavy heart who dares not turn the pages of his life, riding on a journey towards self-destruction. The concept of blind faith is introduced, and it's described as a cruel waste, a bitter taste that's difficult to swallow. However, despite these challenges, the singer finds solace in the idea of surrendering to the "sweet sensation" of music. The song posits that music can serve as a form of escape and healing, allowing individuals to find clarity and ease within their mind.
The chorus emphasizes the importance of the music they play and the role it plays in "easing your mind." The second verse explores the idea of a racing mind and the internal struggle that can arise when reflecting on one's life. Acknowledging the difficulty of this internal battle, the singer chooses to dance with the devil and keep himself safe. By not wasting this time and space, the singer finds comfort and decides to embrace the sweet sensation of music.
Overall, "Blind Faith" is a powerful reflection on the healing power of music and the importance of embracing the moment, especially when faced with adversity.

Who ever directed this video is an absolute fucking genius, they captured the era, the vibe the aesthetic perfectly. This was me and my mates every weekend and millions of others across the U.K. The clothes, the characters, the car everything just perfect.

Totally agree. I cried it was so accurate
@VeetBallz
This could of been any group of mates on a Friday night back in 92. The whole video looks like it was plucked from the archives it is so accurate to that era. 10 years on and I still get the pimples on my arm listening to this.

One more human over in the east coast of the US, can only assume how awesome this must have been. This video is just a massive ode to the era, which here in the US we lived, but just a tad different. Serious masterpiece in the video production and also a massive tune that pairs perfectly with that 90's nostalgia. #chills
