We're doing it

Oh, oh, oh
Well, the first time I saw you
Was the first time I lost you
And the first time I kissed you
Was the first time I missed you
Get by with some love too
But the things that we went through
Were so cold, don't let me remind you
It takes one to be alone
And it takes two to carry on
Tell me what you want to say
When you'll take my love
And just walk away
Is it love that we're missing
Peace of mind we're not getting
Are the games that we're playing
Simply our way of entertaining
Since the start you don't seem to
Realize what I've been through
Since the start I have tried to
Make you see that I need you
It takes one to be alone
And it takes two to carry on
Tell me what you want to say
When you'll take my love
And just walk away
And at times when we drift to
Our knees but forgot to
Leave behind all the past fun
Sometimes I find it hard to comfort
Wonder why we're not one
Is it love that we're missing
Peace of mind we're not getting
Is it love that we're missing
Is it love that we're missing
Peace of mind we're not getting
Tell me is it love that we're missing
I tried so hard to make it work
But it seems to me, only got hurt
Is it love that we're missing
Peace of mind we're not getting
Is it love that we're missing
Leave behind all the past fun
[Incomprehensible]
Is it love that we're missing
The Chemical Brothers' song "Is It Love?" touches on themes of heartbreak, confusion, and longing in the aftermath of a failed relationship. The singer recounts the first times they saw, kissed, and lost the person they loved. Throughout the song, the singer reflects on the tumultuous nature of their relationship, the obstacles they faced, and the pain of realizing that their love was not enough to sustain the relationship. The lyrics suggest that both parties may have been playing games, entertaining themselves with the drama of their relationship rather than finding comfort and security in each other.
The chorus of "Is It Love?" asks a question that remains unanswered: "Is it love that we're missing?" This line encapsulates the confusion and uncertainty that often accompanies the end of a relationship. The singer wonders if their longing for the other person stems from a genuine love or simply a desire to fill an emotional void. The song ends on a melancholic note, with the singer singing, "I tried so hard to make it work, but it seems to me, only got hurt."
Overall, "Is It Love?" is a poignant reflection on the complexities of love and the pain of moving on from a failed relationship.

Item #: SCP-6742
Object Class: Safe
Containment Procedures: Object should be placed in a 3x3 meter containment unit, with sound proof modifications.
Item Description: SCP-6742-A is a 50x25x20 centimeter Boom Box. The model has not been identified, and it is believed to be a unique model that was not mass produced. It is capable of producing sounds up to 80 Decibels and as low as 35. It accepts standard cassettes of various models.
SCP-6742-B is a cassette storing the song “Do It Again” by The Chemical Brothers. It has a sticker with The Chemical Brothers logo attached to the front of the cassette.
When SCP-6742-B is placed inside SCP-6742-A and the play button is pressed, it will begin playing “Do It Again.” Any personnel within range to hear the song will begin feeling the urge to move their body in various ways to the beat. The strength of the urge and the extremity of the movements are directly proportional to the volume of the music. Personnel able to hear it faintly at 30 decibels have been observed to do small fidgeting movements such as tapping their feet and bobbing their heads. Personnel close to SCP-6742-A while it is at its maximum volume have been observed to have full body twitches, often random and sporadic. At this point, personnel are entirely unable to control or resist the twitches. However, it has been shown that prolonged exposure to SCP-6742 can reduce the anomalous effects on the subject listening to it.
Item was recovered from [REDACTED] after there were reports from the area of two personnel used SCP-6742 to steal approximately [REDACTED] from a local bank. The bank workers were unable to stop the robbery due to the anomalous effects of the object. The two personnel committing the robbery were able to resist the effects enough to perform basic actions because of prolonged exposure. Object was retrieved by an MTF crew on [REDACTED] and placed into containment 4 days later.
